So I'm watching the bbc news and was absolutely floored, not by the usual endo stabbing pains, but because there was the consultant in Birmingham who first diagnosed endo, told me the only way to conceive was IVF, and subsequently clipped my tubes. Total heartbreak resulting in relationship breakdown

Fluid/Fibroid in uterus
Hi All, I wrote not so long ago about the clinic finding fluid in my uterus after my first cycle of ivf. Due to this I wasn't allowed a fresh transfer (understandable) and it was a freeze all cycle with 2 embies. I have gone back for further scans. On 10 Nov I had a 3D scan which showed the fluid was

High uterine artery pressures
Hi Ladies, Wondering if you have gone through something similar. I am getting ready for an embryo transfer. As part of monitoring the lining, they checked my uterine artery pressures. It was higher than 3 on both sides. I was told this increased risk of preclampsia if I was to get pregnant. Their concern

Period not stopping! ....šµāš«
I'm on day 9 of my period and I'm still bleeding red like I've just started. My period usually lasted 7 days before where I used to bleed for 4 days then it would taper off until i was clear on day 7. For the last 2 cycles, I've continued to bleed red blood for almost 10/11 days. I don't get the usual

Looking for the best supplement for pcos ?
Look no further , are you struggling on metformin ? , just taking Myo inositol ? Or maybe your not taking anything for your insulin resistance ? Let me introduce you to my lil friend, Inositol is a brilliant supplement. Inositol influences the action of insulin, a hormone essential for blood sugar control

*Sensitive post* 20 weeks pregnant
As the post says, I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant, from transfer number 5. The last embryo from my first NHS cycle. I want this post to give some of you hope, I don't mean to cause upset. Some background, TTC since 2018, unexplained infertility. Had ERA which showed standard amount of progesterone/transfer

Starting to doubt if this is really going to happen
Hello So i dont know why but I am feeling super low today. I have been trying to stay really positive since i started this whole IVF journey. My bf and I started ( both 31 years old ) an IVF cycle in 2020 because his sperm was not good and then they found out my ovarian reserve could be a little better

norethisterone
Hi ladies. Anyone taken norethisterone to induce period? Did you take it for 5 or 10 days. Very stressed currently. Due to start my next IVF cycle but my period is later after being on Prostap. The clinic is taking the last treatment on the 1 Dec as it needs to have a deep clean in theatre. That

Hello I have an unusual question but during this whole IVF cycle I used topical retinol products no Tretinoin but retinol . I had my transfer today ? Should I stop the retinol ? Or should I stop when I am pregnant ? Could it have affected the quality of the eggs ? Thanks so much !

4th time, can I do anything more?
Hi Hope you are all well. I'm going for my fourth embryo transfer soon, the previous have all been negative. First 3 were funded NHS and this one is private NHS. They seem to be doing the same meds and process regardless of it not working 3 times. After embryo transfer they only recommend the cyclogest

Decapeptyl for fibroids - month 3 and symptoms worse - anyone else experienced this?
Hi, I am 3 months into decapeptyl injections with tibolone hrt for fibroids. Iāve been bleeding consistently but not unmanageably till month 3 when now had multiple incidents of flooding and cramping. Also feels like my largest palpable fibroid is bigger and have read tibolone can increase uterine

Temporal Response of Liver Inflammation
Do such once in a while inflammation/relaxation reactions leave scarring and

, bit by bit over time? Or, does the liver recover as long as the overall diet is healthy?
