How careful do I need to be when on IVIGs??
Hi all, for our next cycle I will be given IVIGs in an attempt to suppress my NK cells which we’ve found are in the high range. I won’t be taking steroids/intralipids, just the IVIG infusions. My question is around just how careful I need to be when on the immune suppression treatment?? Our doctor

When I saw the liver specialist she said I definitely have a fatty liver but unsure if it is
fibrosis
or cirrhosis. She didn’t really seem bothered which it was as it’s all on the same scale. Her only advice was to lose weight which I am trying to do.

Fibroids and Treatment
Hi I am currently in the injection stage if ICSI. I had my check up scan on Sunday and they said I have a cyst and a fibroid. They are not sure if the fibroid is just touching the end of my lining or not so they have booked me back in tomorrow with a doctor to have a look. This is the first I have

How long does it take for NASH fibrosis to progress?
Hi there, I've seen so much conflicting information on the internet about how long it takes NASH to progress from stage to stage. Some studies seem to say each stage takes 7 or more years, others seem to say it's possible to progress very rapidly within 2 years or so. Is there any consensus? Or is it

Fibrosis may not be driving AF

were observed in patients from various stages of AF compared to the controls. Moreover, electrophysiological abnormalities did not correlate with any of the

markers.

Fibroscan score
I recently had a fibroscan and the results were F2-F3, but then stated I had mild to moderate
fibrosis
. According to the Medivar score card F2/F3 is moderate to severe
fibrosis
. I am confused about the scoring and comment.

MAFLD (new concept for NAFLD) cut-off for FIB-4 - science article
So Fib-4 is very good to rule out advanced
fibrosis
. Of course is not 100% but above 90% (high NPV). But it is not so good to confirm advanced
fibrosis
(lower PPV) amongst people with fatty liver (further tests are needed then).

Work after embryo transfer?
Can anyone offer their opinion on how important they think it is to rest after embryo transfer? I have had three transfers and first the first one I went back to work on the Monday after a Saturday transfer, in a really stressful job with lots of walking involved and being on my feet working 12-14 days

Update
She seems pretty confident that the results from from shear wave elastography over estimated my
fibrosis
score to f3. She reviewed my fibrosure and an abdominal ultrasound also . She will re do labs and I will have a fibroscan in office end of May.

35 weeks pregnant with twins
I'm just so anxious this is my first pregnancy and I'm having twins in about two weeks. Any advice on twin labor and delivery is welcomed but I'm opting for a vaginal delivery since I have no complications and my dr and midwife say it's okay

Qlaira pills
hello everyone! first of all, I hope this message is not inaccurate. I previously asked two moderators about it but as I didn't get a response I decided to take the risk. I don't know if anyone else had the same problem I faced when trying to buy Qlaira pills here (a combined oral contraceptive pill
