Update - turns out I've missed the boat for this cycle 😕 but all being well looking at embryo transfer w/c 23rd May 🤞 thank you everyone for your advice and reassurance 😊
I'm having a bit of a panic.... I was told to ring my clinic on day 1 of my period to be given instructions on preparing for a FET. I've been given oestrogen 2mg to take 3 times a day. Day 1 of my period is today, and nobody has answered the phone all afternoon! I've phoned about 100 times, left messages, and now they're closed! I'm worried if I need to start oestrogen tonight, and I don't take it, that this cycle will be cancelled. Can anyone advise me when you started oestrogen please? Would it matter if I started tomorrow? Thanks in advance x

Thank you so much, I think you're right it's best to wait to speak to them. It's really frustrating as they gave me nothing written down. Thanks for your response x
You normally start it on day 1 of ‘full flow’ so that can be day 1 or 2 depending on when your period starts but honestly don’t panic, half a day isn’t going to result in a cancelled cycle. Did you start your period this morning or this afternoon?x
Hello I am half way through a FET now and I started estrogen on day three. Ive missed pills before in a previous cycle and they weren’t too worried about it. Sorry they aren’t answering the phone - what a pain ! Good luck with everything x
Hi hun, definitely don’t worry. My clinic FET is to start between day 1 and day 4 as it will depend on their scan days and transfer days. Also if you started flowing around lunch time my clinic would not count that as day 1 but would count the day after as full day 1. And like I said they would then decide which day to start anywhere between day 1 and day 4 depending on their schedules. I had it before where my flow started on a Friday 4pm and stressed out as the clinic is closed in the weekend but they said not to worry as day 1 would be Sat, I would ring them Monday morning and started Monday or Tuesday. So def not a cycle lost!
I hope that helps to reassure you.
Annoying though they don’t pick up the phone. I get the frustration with that!
