I've seen so much conflicting information on the internet about how long it takes NASH to progress from stage to stage. Some studies seem to say each stage takes 7 or more years, others seem to say it's possible to progress very rapidly within 2 years or so.
Is there any consensus? Or is it all individual?

I think it's more individualized. My old gastro said mine had been developing for years. I looked back on my records. I had gallbladder surgery in 2013 not a mention of anything liver., not until 2 years ago with an ultrasound was fatty liver mentioned, 2 years later I am at stage f4? That seems pretty fast and I too read it can take 30 years to develop to cirrhosis. I guess it's hard to know hopefully this biopsy I get Monday will give me a more definitive answer. Good luck.
