high temperatures?
Fibrosis
5-6 but compensated. On Mycophenolate still, pred for 4 years, now discontinued. Generally well until 3weeks ago, I got a kidney infection after a UTI. One IV dose of antibiotics and 3 oral doses later. I feel back to normal but my temperature won’t go down, 37-5* - 38.5*.

NHS Targeted Lung Check
However, might they also detect Fatty Liver,
Fibrosis
or Cirrhosis etc too? Can't see anything to this effect but wondered whether anyone has been diagnosed via this procedure?

SCT update
I’m waiting for blood test results to see if I am still 100% donor & to check my ferritin levels & will have a BMB around the 1 year mark, the last one showed some
fibrosis
, but was told that was expected. I will be forever grateful to my donor, a 26 year old female in the US.

PGT-M/poor quality embryos- Natural or Medicated FET?
We had our egg retrieval in early July and have 3 viable embryos on ice following PGT-M and A testing (testing for cystic
fibrosis
and PGT-A done as standard as part of that). I am eligible for medicated or natural FET (which will be in October).

High AST/ALT Question
My fibrosure shows almost no
fibrosis
and no steatosis. What could be causing these numbers to still be elevated?

pulmonary fibrosis
hi all, I joined recently looking for advice for my husband PF, and copd. He has two inhalers, Trimbow and ventolin. He can’t walk 10 steps without getting breathless. Putting his shoes on he’s breathless. So I measured for oxygen which drops to 82, sit down do nothing and it’ll come back up to 94 within

Bands pulmonary fibrosis tomography
I also performed a computer tomogram, which showed increased bands of pulmonary
fibrosis
. I also performed a spirometry test, which showed medium restriction. Give me an airflusal/forspiro inhaler, but it doesn't help me to walk.

surgical sperm retrieval free on NHS?
my husband has finally been diagnosed with unobstructive azoospermia due to being a carrier of the cystic
fibrosis
gene. I am not a carrier so we are looking at SSR. It’s £5000 for a micro tese privately - and we don’t have that money to spare currently.

Pulmonary Fibrosis
I thought that members with Pulmonary
Fibrosis
might be interested to know that in their latest newsletter ELF, the European Lung Foundation, mentioned that they have just brought out a booklet, Pulmonary
Fibrosis
: a supportive guide.

Shear-Wave Elastography ultrasound
I live in the US and do Shear-Wave Elastography ultrasound that checks liver
fibrosis
(scarring) and determines the PBC stage, every year. I did it for the past 7 years.

Hydroxycarbamide and lungs
I was surprised to read that this medicine can cause interstitial lung disease such as pulmonary
fibrosis
. I don’t remember it being mentioned on the forum. Of course some diseases with stop you from communicating freely. Any comments? Jumbo4

FibroScan Results Significant improvement
Today I had my follow up FibroScan and the results were as follows:
Fibrosis
result: Median = 4.4 kPa (No evidence of
fibrosis
) Steatosis result: CAP score = 144 dB/m (Normal/ No steatosis) I understand that FibroScan tests can overestimate results under certain conditions, but I am absolutely thrilled
