just been diagnosed with cirrhosis. Don’t know what to do
Just had my
fibrosis
scan and the nurse told me my results just put me in the cirrhosis result. I wasn’t expecting this. I do drink, although have cut down a lot since the blood test and have now obviously chosen to stop altogether. I will have some follow up appointments in the next few weeks.

Nintedanib
I've recently started to take nintedanib for my
fibrosis
which I have in both lungs, I've had hypersensitive pneumonitis for some years now (I'm 70) and also take prednisolone but I'm struggling with nausea and diarrhea and would like to know if this improves after a few weeks/months.

I've been recently diagnosis with
fibrosis
stage three and I'm coming to terms with how to live with the situation. And over the years it is caught up with me and my body is telling me I've been silly.

Fatty liver showed up on scan
I know nobody can tell me what the blood tests will show, but is it likely I could have severe
fibrosis
with a normal LFT seven weeks ago? Any words of support would be greatly appreciated.

Fibroscans
This can show many more dimensions of the liver for more accurate account of any stiffness or
fibrosis
seen.

Elevated ELF but 'normal' Fibroscan pressure - how?
I am concerned about severe
fibrosis
. I am working to reduce my weight and alcohol intake. Just wondered if anyone could guide me with respect to these seemingly inconsistent results. Thank you!

Biopsies and confusion
A trichrome stain shows extensive pericellular
fibrosis
and bridging
fibrosis
. A PAS with diastase is negative for alpha-1-antitiypsin inclusions. A reticulin stain shows a maintained architecture. A Prussian Blue stains is negative for siderosis.

Fibrosis result confusion
My
fibrosis
test 61/2 year ago was 22, two months later down to 16. Just had my 6 monthly scan and bloods and everything is fine. They also gave me a
fibrosis
test at my request, has been over 6 years, I thought maybe bit of luck might be down from 16, or just the same. No it was 40!

Ex NAFLD club
You would have to achieved a clear diagnosis, 'no
fibrosis
' no fat infiltration. Of course we would have a club tie and big ourselves up why not?

nash fibrosure test
I recently had this test and scored zeros on everything, No steatosis, nash, or
fibrosis
. I felt pretty good about it at the time. From what I hear this is a pretty good blood test. I've also researched it quite a bit. I'm having some strange symptoms going on and I'm trying to reassure myself.
