I had my stress MRI scan on the 2nd February, I got the results yesterday I intend to phone my cardiologist next week..but in the meantime can anyone point me in the right direction ?

He has a non-dilated left ventricle with mild left ventricle

hypertrophy and some regional wall motion abnormalities but overall preserued LV systolic function. There

is reversible ischaemia in the right coronary artery territory and there is likely mild non-ischaemic fibrosis in

the basal inferolateial segment

I think you are asking some very important questions. The BHF cardiac helpline is great and you will find that they can explain your results to you before your call with your cardiologist if you’re worried in the interim. I have attached their number below.

0808 802 1234

All the best.

Phoned my cardiologist today and got his secretary she said he'd phone me and he did a couple of hours later. He explained the problem and that he's put me on the waiting list for an angiogram so he can see what can be done.
