normal test results - somehow frustrating!
at the next review I had a bad bout of TB 15 years ago and have a lot of
fibrosis
as a result. so I have had checkups in the past and now more as I have UCTD (anti-Ku antibody).

Hello! Help understanding my results please?
Hi, I've had my ultrasound, bloods and
fibrosis
scan and they have come back (according to the letter from my consultant to my GP) as - Child-Pugh A6, Meld Score 7. I have tried to understand from my consultant (and Google!)

Other conditions
I have had A/F for 12 years, but now diagnosed with Pulmonary
Fibrosis
as well. Is there anyone on this site with both conditions please? I am currently waiting to see a Consultant, but it's always very helpful to hear how other people have managed to cope with both.

Tips to manage embryo transfer phase
Hi my great family, The long wait will be over this week as my transfer day 5 has been scheduled. I produced 11eggs, 8 matured, 5 got fertilized via ICSI. I had mild lower abdomen cramp, which I kept drinking lot of water and it got better. Currently I am not feeling the lower abdomen cramp like before

Stage 4 endo and trying for a baby
Just looking to see if anyone has been in a similar situation / look for some advise! I had surgery end of June where they found stage 4 endo, I had x2 large cysts in both ovaries and everything was fused together. My right side is blocked when he did the dye test. I was started on Decapytyl for 3

DNR not sure what to do.
I have hypersensitivity pneumonitis a lung condition and pulmonary

Binge Drinking with mild fatty liver leading to RUQ discomfort and nausea - help!

Good News on Peg
I had initially started on HU but given my age <50 at the time and the fact that I was pretty convinced that we were/are dealing with pre- fibrotic PMF and not ET (due to very high Jak2 burden; persistent leukocytosis (high WBC); some minor
fibrosis
in the BMB and the fact that it took three specialists

Adenomyosis
Back when I had my initial scans ahead of IVF treatment one of the Dr's diagnosed me with adenomyosis. This surprised me as no one had ever spotted this before and I thought you couldn't diagnose it from a transvaginal ultra sound. When I said "Are you sure??" she said "You definitely have adenomyosis

ELF score 8.3
It was 4.8kpa, but ELF test shows moderate
fibrosis
(8.3). Its seems ELF test is more accurate, because on this forum I have found several people who feel smth is wrong with their liver that have normal elastography, but ELF reveals
fibrosis
. Mine is due to alcohol.

update ct colonoscopy
hi, just had ct virtual colonoscopy done. I was unable to complete colonoscopy recently and my doc referred me to abdo surgeon, he put me in for ct colon scan. Although the prep is just as bad as colonoscopy prep, the actual procedure went well, was able to complete scan. Don’t know the results yet but

CT scan 10 weeks ago showed pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema.
That came back showing I have in fact got pulmonary
fibrosis
and emphysema. I had to wait 9 weeks to get results from gp. Apparently as I have no new symptoms I won’t see a lung specialist for months. I was put on routine waiting list at same time as scan was requested and that’s 12 weeks now.

Decongestant ingredient in popular products does not work, FDA concludes
There have long been questions about those with thyroid issues taking phenylephrine, in any form. Including used by ophthalmologists during operations. The latest news suggests not being able to take phenylephrine might not make much, if any, difference! Note: The brand names mentioned might well contain

. because these 2 drugs like EPO and TPO. I don't understand the drug mechanism. My attending physician is also an attempt on me. So, I ask for help here.

Differing embryo quality for a double embryo transfer
Hi ladies, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with having a really good quality and a more poor quality day 5 blastocyst transferred together? I’ve read conflicting things. One consultant told me they wouldn’t recommend it and another said they don’t see why not. So I thought I’m best
