Just found out my results today from liver biopsy I had done in May. I think its what my Hepatologist was expecting so I am not too worried.
The only thing I can do is lose weight..... I have been trying for years and been back and forth to GP about this issue, luckily my Hepatologist has referred me to see the dietician who can see if there is anything that needs adjusting with my diet/exercise.
I do find it so confusing with all the different results from fibroscans and blood results as when you look them up online it scares you but then you speak to your consultant and they say everything is fine you just need to lose weight.
So originally in FEB my fibroscan was 10.1kpa, ALT-91, AST-50 then again in MAY which was 9.1kpa, ALT-112 and AST-77 (the fibroscan reading in FEB I believe to be inaccurate due to shortly being after having a cholecystectomy and not fasting before the fibroscan.... ) even my Albumin is now borderline high and my bilirubin is slowly increasing on average.
things keep rising and I don't know what else I need to do, they do not seem to believe me when I say I'm trying to lose weight as my weight as only increased over time???
feels good to vent !
