Functional ovarian cyst and Frozen embryo cycles

Hi all

I just wondered whether any of you had issues with functional cysts and how your clinic dealt with them regarding frozen embryo cycles, did they make you wait until the cyst had gone away?

I have had an ovarian cyst and either no period or odd heavy awful periods for the last 7 months. The last 2 months my cycles seem to be getting back to normal but the cyst is still there. I am due to have another ultrasound in 6 weeks to see (hopefully) it’s gone away. I have delayed doing a frozen embryo transfer as I didn’t have a day 1 due to erratic bleeding cycles. My clinic said I could use buserelin but I’m more inclined to wait for my periods to become regular again. Anyone else experienced similar and did their cyst go away on its own? Ideally I’d like mine too before commencing a cycle!

The cyst can sometimes resolve on it's own - the clinic like to keep a close eye on it while letting nature take it's course -can often disappear within 2/3 menstrual cycles
