Results of procedure : MASLD, grade 1 steatosis, stage 0-1 fibrosis

This is what I see in my chart have appt with doctor next week and my anxiety is terrible worrying on how my liver has gotten worse with losing 10 pounds and switched two years ago to Mediterranean diet and alcohol in moderation sometimes going weeks without and never going over the limit.I also just completed 40 days of no sugar/alcohol and only Whole Foods prior to fibroscan and still higher numbers then two years ago my scan was 202 cap with only a little fatty liver and I was eating and drinking more during that time. All my bloodwork is also good only reason I ever had it checked was because at one point my alt was double the limit years ago and the doctor did not know why and did not have fatty liver at the time.I exercise about 4 days a week and my BMI is 29 and hard for me to get below that even with healthy diet and exercise.Any insight would be appreciated. I am wondering maybe if it’s too much olive oil that I am consuming because that is all I use to roast vegetables and I also eat a cup of grapes every day with some walnuts, but other than that, I don’t touch any fried food or processed food.

This amount of change can be accounted for by variation between the technicians that performed the scan. It’s not different enough to discount that.

Thank you for replying so this means it could have been worse 2 years ago but on my ultrasound 2 years ago there was no fatty liver at all and then the ultrasound had no fatty liver either but now I’m at stage 1 for fatty liver and fibrosis and I’ve been healthier then ever in those 2 years.

Your healthcare team looks at all the brush strokes that paint the picture. Blood work, Fibroscans, Ultrasound, MRI, CT etc. so you should too. Don’t give up and don’t get cocky. Keep working towards a healthier liver through a healthy lifestyle.
