30yo - Myocarditis - Weird Heart Symptoms - Looking for help!
Hi all, This is quite an essay but I would be super appreciative if anyone can help/shed some light on what I could possibly be asking my doctors to do for me on this matter as I’m very scared of day to day life right now, and I feel like I’m not really being helped as much as I could be. I’ve had

Resistant Hypertension
Never had hypertension before starting Zytiga. BP and pulse rate. increased. Taking 5mg prednisone a day. MO reluctant to increase. Can't find study to back up increasing prednisone. Fair BP and pulse rate control on bisoprolol, losartan and amlodipine. Doing so well on Zytiga, really rather not

abdominal cramps with meds.
Hi I’ve started taking Ramipril 2.5mg and Apixaban 5mg only 3 days ago but the abdominal cramps are quite bad. Please could you tell me if anyone else has experienced this side effect and does it settle? If not I can’t stand this cramping. Thank you in anticipation.

Apparently I’m special (wish I wasn’t)
hello now that I am washed, fed and watered I shall share my day trip to A&E. I started a new med Diltiazem 240mg last Saturday per latest cardiologist report and prescribed by gp as a result and I found my chest pain increased in intensity and on occasion whilst sitting (the latter didn’t happen on

Unexpected A&E visit
After being mainly angina free since August last year had a horrible episode today which 3 doses of nitrate spray didn't resolve. Phoned my orbita trial doc at basildon to ask for advice. Upshot be advised my to go to A&E and liased with cardio docs at broomfield. Pretty seamless experience after bloods

I had a heart attack in October and despite being fairy fit and having a healthy diet also no heart issues in my family i had this mild heart attack

is my blood pressure medication giving me extra dry skin. Can I reduce my dose.
I am currantly taking 5mg Felodopine and 1.25 mg Ramipril in the evening and 125mg levothyroxine in the morning. I think my thyroid levels are good and I feel well. However, since taking my blood pressure tablets my dry skin has got even drier and more wrinkled, my hair is dry and brittle and my nails

Amlodipine as an addition to losartan
I was also on losartan at 50mg and my consultant added the amlodipine for an evening dose. How did I feel ? Pretty awful ! Advised to stick with it and in fairness after about 6- 8 weeks the side affects had reduced and gone completly by weeks.. Not a pleasant experience. Bottom line is my bp is around

Hi all, Haven't posted in a while, so here's an update. I had a thyroidectomy 18 months ago, with no RAI due to ongoing saliva issues. Up until about 3 weeks ago I was doing well on 137.5mg Levo, good energy levels and feeling pretty good. Since then I've been lacking energy, feeling a bit down. and

Flecainide and Digoxin
My first post after lurking a good while and sorry if it is over long, I am very confused at present, being diagnosed has been such a shock. In feb 2022 I spent 3 days in hospital with Afib and high blood pressure (180/104) no symptoms or pain etc, discharged with bisoprolol, ramipril and rivaroxaban

Hi, was given these meds for suspected angina whilst waiting for echo, 48 hr ecg and angiogram. I have been taking for a week but am suffering with regular stomach cramps and lack of appetite. Could it be all giving of them giving me side effects or is one the likely suspect? I will try and contact
