abdominal cramps with meds.

Hi I’ve started taking Ramipril 2.5mg and Apixaban 5mg only 3 days ago but the abdominal cramps are quite bad. Please could you tell me if anyone else has experienced this side effect and does it settle? If not I can’t stand this cramping.

In your position I would contact the doctor who prescribed this combination of medication, failing that speak to your pharmacist

I agree with Happyrosie: Go and talk to your doctor or pharmacist..I was on Ramipril for a short time. I too suffered crippling pains in my stomach, along with a runny nose and worsening of Raynauds I had to put gloves on to open the fridge door. I was on a variety of meds but never heard of apixaban.. Take care and Happy New Year
