Weight gain with Femara/Letrozole
I am a fitness instructor and haven't changed my eating or
exercise
so I'm thinking it may be a side effect of the treatment and hormones combined. My chin has also decided to break out in spots - not something I have dealt with since using an IUD.

K0706 Clinical Trial
I see a PT and
exercise
, which really helps with the stiffness. I'm postponing meds because I think I'd like to try to get into a clinical trial at OHSU in Portland, Oregon (where I live). One of the studies I'm interested in is for a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, K0706.

I've been failed
She told me nothing about what my diagnosis meant, how it would affect my fertility, a recommended diet,
exercise
or anything else I needed to know. Then she told me that I wouldn't be allowed to book anymore consultations with her until I'm interested in having a family.

Chest tightness
Initially it seemed I was able to
exercise
more freely, by which I mean climb my stairs in one hit! But now whenever I do anything mildly energetic, like walking, I get this unbearable tightness across my chest and my heart pounds.

blood pressure
I am now taking 87.5 T4 and increased from 25 to 30 T3 6 days ago as I still felt exhausted and poor stamina / walking and want to be able to use my body and walk say 1-4 hours and be able to
exercise
. However today my blood pressure has been high - 132/87.

5 2 diet and heart problems
He said that I could do some
exercise
but I needed to take it easy. I didn't ask him if it was OK to do the 5 2. I was pre diabetic but I have managed to bring my number down so I am all clear. I also have brought down my cholesterol numbers. I have also lost about 6 pounds in 3 weeks.

Not sleeping
I
exercise
and see a chiropractor . I am on metformin for borderline diabetics (started 2023) and now Celiac (December 2023) . Doctor advised me that he gives Gabapentin to patients to help sleep , It seems to have the reverse effect on me.

GCA tapering advice
I felt better and resumed my
exercise
activity - cycling. I saw my rheumatologist last week and was told to stay on 25mg for a month and then go back to the taper regime.

MSA-C with ataxia rebound
Exercise
for balance has really helped but unfortunately my ataxia is not visible now. Wobbly walk seems to have disappeared but sometimes sneaks back but in a different way. Wondering if balance
exercise
and walking has helped anyone else.

Anyone with alendronate side effects?
Approximately two months into treatment I began having severe shoulder joint and muscle pain that is making it too painful to do most
exercise
I had begun. My physician thinks it is unrelated and wanted me to continue taking the medication.

Need advice on diet and exercise
I am feeling very down today. I had an appointment with Endo specialist yesterday and was told I am on the highest priority for my laparoscopy in Wales to treat my frozen pelvis. As the top tier of patients waiting for this treatment is now so long(due to covid, etc) I will hopefully have my treatment

Feeling down, no period
I normally
exercise
and eat well to get myself sorted. This feeling of sadness is growing and I don't know what to do. Feels like everyone else is getting on and I am stuck. I just don't know where to turn my head on this, feels rough.

Short, fat, and many health problems
I think my main issue is that I don't
exercise
. I don't eat breakfast, and I don't get hungry. I eat usually one meal a day and a snack in the evening when I take meds. The doctors have me taking so many medications I am tired of that. I can't walk very far due to my back pain.

I’m doing everything I’m supposed to
I’m seeing a therapist, take medication, go to support groups and
exercise
regularly and I’m still consistently depressed and anxious. It’s really starting to weigh on me and I feel like I’m wasting my time doing all these positive things.
