Interesting item on tumeric - I try and add it fresh or powdered to as much as possible - don't forget the black pepper to help it get absorbed.....http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-37408293

Day 1, Again, ruddy hell....
So it's such a joke. So I don't workout for 4 days, but I ate sensibly and all that, and I've put on everything back that I worked for in the previous 2 weeks. Just because I didn't go to the gym. This is ruddy impossible, I can't seem to win at this. I realise I have put on a stone and a half in the

Five years ago I was suddenly hit with a horrible illness. But it wasn't till three years ago that I was diagnosed with Lupus. I have not yet given into any prescription medication, but only because I have been able to control it with what I eat. My physical body structure has scoliosis and lordosis

How did Rx for fatigue work for you?
Seven years ago I was diagnosed with CLL. I have recently passed from W&W into Stage 1 Over the past several months my fatigue has gotten out of control. Moderate daily exercise, green tea tablets, tumeric, vitamin D, vitamin B, etc., plus acupuncture--all those things together are no longer enough.

Alternative to Ibuprofen???
Due to a bleed in my tummy, I'm not able to take Ibuprofen. Someone mentioned Tumeric capsules from the likes of Hollande & Barratt to me today as a natural anti-inflammatory. Is this real/does it work? Any other options?

Pom T
Has anyone looked into Pom T as a health supplement? It was originally developed for men with prostate cancer. My husband has stage 4 diagnosed start of last year, this year I was diagnosed 3C PPC/OC. The company has started research into other cancers including OC. Www.Pom-T.com or cancernet.co.uk

Herbal remedies???
I am 56 with cirrhosis and have recently started to take milk thistle, tumeric and green tea supplements. I started about a week ago and for the past few days have been getting upper quadrant pain not too bad but it's there. It comes and goes and doesn't stay long but I have never had any pain before

Recently diagnosed in the last few years?
I was diagnosed in July 2014 and have gained support, understanding and information from others who have been recently diagnosed. I had intense vertigo, facial twitching and fatigue like I've never experienced that brought me in for diagnosis. I thought I might have a brain tumor. Now two years later

Trying out different vitamins
My original count was 33 when o found out I had ITP about 9 weeks ago I looked up many items on ITP and some said diet and vitamins helped. I thought I would give it a try. I totally changed my diet and stopped drinking alcohol I don't know if it is a coincidence or not as I know they can jump up and

Onward, but with your love.
Thank hou my dear ones on the Other Side of The Pond. Interstitial lung disease, AND shrinking lung disease, are causing me great pain. Even hallow breathing hurts, and i still feel winded. I am demoralized, then alternatively, in high spirits knowing that i CAN heal this inspite of Western Allopathic

Easy Tumeric mix
I see so much about the benefits of this and decided to find an easy way to take it as I don't like capsule form. Not only is it easy but I loved the taste! This makes a batch for ease of use. OK. Get a screw top jar and add 3 tablespoons tumeric 2 tablespoon black pepper 1 tablespoon ground ginger

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Zyflamend
lukedohner asked about Zyflamend & suddenly, I am briefly at the other end of the alphabet. First, I need to say something about Dr. Aaron Katz, who has conducted studies using Zyflamend. Katz used to be at the Columbia University Center for Holistic Urology. In 2007, he made a video [1] in which he
