Tumeric - can it help our health?

Interesting item on tumeric - I try and add it fresh or powdered to as much as possible - don't forget the black pepper to help it get absorbed.....bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-374...

TURMERIC GOLDEN PASTE. Fom one of our support group members, an easy way to use: ¼ cup turmeric powder or 2 ½ cm knob fresh turmeric, finely chopped; ½ teaspoon ground black pepper; ½ cup filtered water: 2 tsps coconut oil/olive oil; (optional: I cm fresh ginger, finely chopped). Cook all ingredients together in small saucepan on medium heat, stir well until mixture thickens – doesn’t take long. When paste has formed, remove from heat to cool. Keep in fridge and add to smoothies, dishes, whatever you want.

I am using grated fresh tumeric,grated fresh ginger made into a tea then add hone,lemon black pepper or coconut oil for absorption. I take this daily to ease my joints which are inflamed and aching.....need to the this for a while to feel the befits yet. Wish me luck!

Yes it has helped me....been juicing raw turmeric and taking golden paste...Turmeric is the best..take little and often. Hopefully five years free next February...had no chemo and no radio...was frightening but worth it!!! Take flax seed ground..every day....go vegan....no dairy...I juice loads...garlic broccoli pineapple apples pears lettuce kale spinach took Bio Strath...take Chia seeds take Wheatgrass powder Spirilina take Chlorella...cook with coconut oil....and told myself with every mouthful i was getting better!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!
