Anesthesia used for endoscopy
I was diagnosed with PA when I was 19 yrs old. My hemoglobin was 6 and nearly died. All tests, Schilling, bone marrow etc. verified this. I am 63 years old now. I have carcinoid syndrome and have had biopsies done every 3-4 months. My Dr is sending me to a neurologist now to test for possible dementia

Newly diagnoised
So after 4 years of pain I have finally been diagnosed with 'mild crohns'. Had a endoscopy the beginning of this year and being sent for MRE and possibly a capsule endoscopy too. Does anyone have any tips of trying to pin point your triggers, I've been keeping a food diary lately but can't see much connection

Can omega 3 be used for treating coma patient with hypoxic brain injury?
My father has been diagnosed with hypoxic encephalopathy after respiratory arrest due to medical error while having endoscopy, the oxygen supply wasn’t sufficient for about 25 mins , it has been 46 days today since his injury, and yet he’s still in what I can call vegetative state, sometimes he’s more

Getting no where with drs
My journey has been a long one since 2012 my drs have suspected that I have something going on with my liver. My enzymes remain at 50AST, 54 ALT 112ALP and have stayed this way for the whole year. At one point they went back down to completely normal. I have had my ANA and AMA tested twice both negative

Undiagnosed 5years
Hi, I’m looking for any help to diagnose my condition as I’ve had absolutely no help from doctors. Firstly I’d like to share my symptoms - I don’t have these everyday, they occur in 3 month flare ups and last from 1 day to a month(random). I haven’t found a pattern as to why they occur and what the triggers

Pradaxa & Indigestion
I am in the older age group and for the last six months I have been taking Pradaxa. Over the past Month I have been getting an Indigestion type of stomach discomfort. My doctor says it is due to the Pradaxa and it has been discontinued. It appears it will take some weeks before I will notice any improvement

Difficulty initiating swallowing
I have been having difficulty initiating to swallow for 4 months now. I do not have acid reflux, I’ve had a modified Barium swallow test done and an endoscopy test done both showing that everything’s “normal” and yet I still struggle initiating to swallow. I hesitate when I do try to eat any solids and

He's "disappearing"
I don't suffer from anxiety, but I'm about 95% sure that my husband does. I have been reading through old/new posts and I just feel like I need to post -- My husband has been having heart palpitations, dizziness, weakness, stomach pains, tingling sensation in arms/legs, no motivation and more since

Constant pain getting me down! 😢
I've been suffering lower right hand abdominal pain for around 8 months now, had an abdominal ultrasound that was clear and I am having an endoscopy next week, but right now the constant pain and worry is really beginning to get me down! I'm constant anxious that the pain is caused by something sinister

I was recently here for stomach cancer fears....it's morphed.
I'm 26 years old, moderate health. Had endoscopy last Friday that diagnosed bile gastritis. I seem to get full quickly, nauseous after eating and tons of gas and belching. I'm hitting absolute rock bottom here. I'm worried that I actually have pancreatic cancer. I've been fearful of it for a few days

Convinced I'm dying of stomach cancer
Hey all, I'm a 26 year old male. Just last week I started getting a weird pressure feeling in my abdomen. Didn't think too much of it but it bothered me enough to try and make an appointment with my GP. Unfortunately, the closest appointment was 2 weeks out. Naturally, things started to get worse for

Introducing myself
Hi all, well I’ve been sat on the sidelines for a while now, just ‘listening’ to what you all have to say. I must say I’ve been very impressed with the support and advice given to complete strangers. Very humbling. I thought it was about time I stuck my head above the parapet. I’m not as experienced
