Churning stomach help?
About 2 years ago I started having a churning stomach 24/7. Like I was starving but I’m not actually hungry. It is so aggravating. After two months of it I had an endoscopy and he said everything was normal. It went away and now here I am again. What could this be? Can anxiety cause this? Should

Anyone recognise these symptoms?
My present situation is one of great despair and isolation. I am a 50 yr old female, am currently housebound, for a year now and unable to work due to my ever mysterious symptoms, I live on my own and have had to close my business and rely on daily help from my elderly parents. I have no support from

Please help - recently discovered various issues which may all be linked to thyroid disorder? Still in the dark, no Endo appointment yet
Sorry, this is a long post! I am 35 and am lucky to have had really good health until recently. I lead a very active lifestyle (sea kayaking, running, snorkelling, hill walking) and eat a varied, healthy diet. There are now various issues (some of which I have found myself with private blood tests),

Night sweats and worried.
44 year old male here. Having drenching night sweats. MRI, CT scans, endoscopy, colonoscopy blood work came back clean but I'm freaking out. Neck pain, night sweats, and stomach pain. Googling it brings up the C word. I called my doctor but they aren't as scared as me. I'm ready to go to the ER. Please

I’ve just been diagnosed with grade 2 adenocarcinoma 9 years after an EMR . It was found on my 3 yearly endoscopy which was 10 months late due to COVID. To say I’m devastated is an understatement. Can you give me a pep talk and tell me to put my “ big girls pants on” Monday for treatment plan and an

Petrified of long term damage from NAFLD
Good morning all! I just wanted some insight into my latest appointment with Hepatology which has terrified me. I was diagnosed with fatty liver about 3 years ago due to PCOS and weight gain. All I was told was to lose some weight and nothing more, which stupidly made me think it wasn't a big deal.

Stomach ulcer symptoms, tests all clear. Could ppi mask something more serious?
Hi there! I've recently been diagnosed with functional dyspepsia since all tests came back clear. It started with bad heartburn and stomach pains. Dr tested me for H Pylori, negative. Put me on pantoprazole (2x40 a day) for a month. The symptoms reduced quite a lot, but when I reduced ppi to one pill

Had my endoscopy and they couldn’t find anything 🤔
Hi everyone, I wrote my first post a few weeks ago telling about this awful burning pain under my left rib.I assumed gastritis or an ulcer yet the endoscopy hasn’t picked up on anything apart from a polyp. The doctor said this wasn’t serious but seemed to think it was caused by omeprazole. So now I am

Mild platelet elevation
Hi, I have been stuck in limbo with mildly raised platelets since March 2020. Started at 420, then 430, 440 and now have been 450 since October 2020. My gp freaked me out (I have anxiety) by ordering a number of blood tests and scans to look for malignancy. Some tests are still to be done but all that

Acid reflux, pain, nausea; worried about zollinger-ellison
Hi everyone! I'm new to this group and looking for some people with the same experience. I'm really hoping my symptoms boil down to anxiety, but I'm starting to worry (how ironic) that it's more serious. Last year I had a strange case of leftsided numbness for months. MRI showed nothing and after this
