Liver Cysts

Hi Everyone. This my first time posting. I've just had a phone appt with Gastro Doc to discuss my ultrasound. I have at least 3 cysts on liver which is enlarged. Fatty Liver I think..I was so nervous I couldnt hear properly! He is sending me for CT scan and Endoscopy and having bloods done. So now I am beginning to freak out a bit. He said that Ultrasounds are not that good at picking up stuff clearly like types of cysts or pancreas hence the CT scan. So I'm thinking what if its something more sinister or multiple cysts or inoperable things etc.. What if endoscopy throws up something nasty. Apart from Liver pain and discomfort I get a range of digestive symotoms. Do you get digestive troubles with Liver issues? He said he will prob speak to me in about 4mnths time when all tests and results are done. 4mnths! Blessing to you all xx

Hopefully the blood tests can been done immediately. Here in Canada they are, and you go online to get the results. At least you’ll know if the liver is functioning normally. My hubby had all sorts of digestive issues prior to his fatty liver and cirrhosis diagnosis. Most notably nausea and vomiting bile. I presume you’re not consuming alcohol. Not good for a healthy liver, let alone one that may be struggling.

Thank you for your reply MissisaugaLiver. I dont drink or smoke and only take bp meds and Omeprazole. Hardly take any painkillers either. Only started with symptoms last 12mnths or so. Put it down to Ibs or Menopause orpulled Muscle by ribs. Doc suspected Gallstones but didnt show any on USound xx

Aw I feel for you, so scary, I really hope its nothing sinister, dealing with constant pain is so hard, I am also in constant pain, been told I have a lump on liver after an ultrasound I'm waiting for a GI appointment
