I have been experiencing stomach pains for some months, had upper endoscopy and the doctor said everything is normal. I experience upper abdomen and lower right abdomen pain which radiates to the back and right leg. Sometimes it feels like nerve pain and it's irritating. I had pelvic ultrasound and everything is normal. The last doctor l consulted thinks it's gastritis I have been taking omeprazole and gaviscon but nothing seems to be working for me. I have to put on a hot water bottle to survive. I experience the pain everyday. If someone knows how l can cure this please help.😭

Does the pain ease if u don’t eat? Ie not eat all day but allowed a small bowl of milk/water porridge - as long as u are not gluten free- towards evening.
Acid tends to stop if there is no food in the stomach.
I find too much salt can set off excess acid.
I am also experiencing the same symptoms and taking the same medications with no improvement. Hot water bottle also. I haven't had any tests just left on omeprazole for months. My pain is there whether l eat or don't. I wake up with it each morning. Sorry l can't offer a solution but l will keep you posted as l am talking to my GP today.
I have now been diagnosed with gastritis and the pain is truly awful. I usually end up in A & E and even with all the morphine the paramedics can give me it only dulls the pain. It lasts for hours. No one seems to be able to provide anything to help. I have yet to work out what starts it off, The last hospital doctor thought I had gall stones and when he found out I did not he just sent me home.
Yes for ages I thought I had angina although ghe doctors said I did not have that. I finally figured out that it was acid reflux and also eventually gastritis. When It is only acid reflux I take Gaviscon Advance - liquid and also not the other versions of Gaviscon.
