Is this a ibs flare up?

Feeling ok during the mornings but as the day goes on my lower belly area below my belly button feels tender inside. I nearly alway have a BM late afternoon which can be soft on the last bit. Not sure if this consistently is normal. Also I have some light spasms at times and sometimes wind. I had pylori which was treated in September and a endoscopy to confirm all was ok. But how long does the after effects last and could the bug have caused ibs? Does anyone else suffer this? I’ve had blood tests stool test etc, it’s not all the time tho just lasts for a few days and can be ok for a few weeks! Any advice please

I think that is what many of us suffer from. For me specifically I would call that a great day. Not to downplay your situation but for me a "flare" is when I wake up in the middle of the night crawl to the bathroom dizzy and sit on the toilet sideways with my head against the wall sweating and wishing I would die. But we all have our challenges and thankfully my flares are much more in control now for the most part.

Savor those weeks of good many have no good days ever. Have all the tests come back negative? Are you seeing a good GI doc?

Thanks. I’m lucky in a way but I think the pylori kicked this all off. I just worry about the big C that probably shouldn’t even enter my head, but I’m early 50s so I do
