I’ve lost my faith in the NHS altogether.
I put a post up 4 months ago about Isosorbide Mononitrate regarding unstable angina. I had to wait 3 months to see my cardiologist. As my unstable angina was getting worse, I decided to go private, as I was going to A&E too often and getting nowhere. Not one medic in A&E could help me. And after speaking

advice for coming off meds, before endoscopy procedure.
Firstly HNY everyone! I had HA & 5 stents fitted 7 months ago. I now have an appointment to have a endoscopy procedure this week& have been told to come off the two blood thinners I’m on. Plavex & asprin, for one week, which I’m afraid to do. I’ve tried getting in touch with the gastroenterologist

Norvovirus and CLL/immunocompromised
Has anyone in this CLL community had success in treating Norvovirus? I have not been tested but Norvovirus is prominent in my area (also referred to as the stomach flu, but it is not a flu). Everyone in my household has had it, presenting with gastroenteritis, vomiting , food aversion, and usually

Newly diagnosed
I still feel unsure as the information I have been given is quite sketchy. My initial fibroscan in July 2022 seemed to be quite disconcerting as had a liver stiffness of 41.9Kpa with CAP 400, which apparently is the most they could record, so was a little concerned. But nothing was really discussed

Hi. Does anyone suffer or was suffering from chronic gastritis caused by helicobacter? What are your symptoms and how do you manage them? How long have you had them? I have been suffering for last 2 years one and off with epigastric pain, feeling something stuck in the throat and occasionally burning

Need help fast! Hydroxy and fluconozole Don’t mix? What to do?
I had an endoscopy last Tuesday and yeast was found in my esophagus. I had had oral thrush 6 weeks ago and was prescribed fluconozle. Now I’m on it again but pharmacy says it is a level one alarm for hydroxy and F. To be taken together. I have thrush in my entire mouth and throat. Leave for vacation

Update from recent imput from you all regarding acid reflux etc
After reading your kind suggestions of what helped you I rang the surgery, I was lucky to get an phone call appointment (not my doctor)a different doctor of course. He felt that my thyroxine levels were steady and had been for the last few years but after listening to my symptoms decided we'd start from

Help with GP gaslighting
My GP is calling my latest thyroid results ‘borderline’ and doesn’t think it explains my symptoms. I’m livid! 19 months I’ve been waiting for my blood results to get outside NHS normal range from low in range. Now at TSH 0.32 (range is 0.35+). I have an enlarged multinodular goitre, I have iron infusions

Clopidogrel causing duodenitis?
I've been taking clopidogrel, amlodipine and statins for years now. Over the last year or so I have developed inflammation of the duodenum, confirmed by endoscopy. The consultant wrote "duodenitis caused by clopidogrel" on his summary of findings. However, since then doctors have declined to go down

Advice pleaae
Hi hopefully someone give me some advice or reassurance. I’ve suffered with IBS for along time, several years ago I developed acid reflux, had an Endoscopy which confirmed some scarring, given medication which in most has helped. Fast forward 8/9 weeks ago I developed a barking cough for about 16/18
