I have another procedure at the Mayo Clinic. This next procedure is an EUS, what is Endoscopy Ultrasound. I have a cyst on my Pancreas, that has grown over the years. The cyst first detected back in twenty twenty one. This found at MD Anderson clinic in Arizona. They back then it was not cancer. The transplant team, wants to be on the safe side. I agree with that. I just hope they it not caner, or they have to remove it. I will the results in two or three days. The test will be done on April 3rd. When that is complete hopefully, I will put on the transplant list. I will say this to anyone starting dialysis, be your own advocate. What I saying pay attention to the clinic doctor and staff. I had an incident when, they had me on the paperwork as a diabetic. I'm not diabetic they also have the wrong, kidney doctor on patient portal. I'm working having this corrected. I wanted to touch base with everyone. I'm thankful for the support and feedback it does help. The other times I look to my wife, friends, coworkers and online support. The thing I turn is 🎶 I believe it good for the ❤ and soul. I let you know the results of my Endoscopy and when I'm put on the transplant list. I will say this keep the faith. I said this before I will say again, stay tune the best is yet to come. Take ❤ 😆.

Good luck on the EUS and on getting on the list. I got added Oct 2022 and started peritoneal dialysis Feb 2023 so I'm hoping every day I get the call. The evaluation was remarkably easy as I have most of what they wanted as preventive care done every year any way. One thing that got messed up was blood work came back positive for cocaine and I came unglued as I don't use drugs. It was a false positive and I had my lab here and theirs rerun the test. It was negative. So yes, advocate for yourself.

I looked up the EUS and it is a procedure done under sedation where they pass a tube down your throat that uses sound waves to examine your digestive system and the organs around it like the pancreas. Your doctor should tell you what to do before and after the procedure. I strongly agree that you have to keep advocating for yourself - I've always done that, too ,through both dialysis and transplant. I'm so glad you have a positive attitude, that'll take you far! Good luck to you!
