Treatment for PA the same as B12 deficiency?
I got so caught up in preventing permanent neurological symptoms I have not done any reading on PA. I tested positive which confirmed what was found by a endoscopy. I have a endoscopy coming up. Does it have any value as far as PA is concerned.

Lansoprazole
I have been on Lansoprazole since the end of Jan for ‘suspected Gastritis’. I went back to the Dr today. Tried to tell them that I bloat terribly from 6pm. That my stomach and lower abdomen feels so uncomfortable. I felt as if he wasn’t sure what to do. He felt my stomach again. Said he could refer me

String-y Mucous problems anyone?
Hello everyone Five years ago I had a trans-hiatal oesophagectomy following an endoscopy which revealed high-grade dysplasia cells. (I was being monitored after chemo/radiotherapy for SCC in my oesophagus in 2015) I elected for surgery rather than take the very real risk that the cells would become

Anaemia after 7years from op
Hi, Has anyone been anaemic after surgery? After 7 years I have now got anaemia. Dr sent me back to consultant and I have had PET scan, endoscopy and colonoscopy. Within 2 weeks which is brilliant service. Having a further CT as colonoscopy wasn’t successful due to my weird anatomy. Consultant said

Any ladies going through Perimenopause/menopause? Has it upset your IBS?
I’ve actually had IBS for 25 years so do already have a very sensitive digestive system. However, since I turned 45 (5 years ago), my digestive system has gone haywire. I have regular nausea, acid stomach, belching, stomach pain, bloating in stomach and intestinal area. I get awful gurgling and rumblings

Esomprazole, stomach issues and calcium deficiency
When I was diagnosed with PMR in March 2021, I was prescribed Omeprazole and Alendronic Acid. The Omeprazole made sense as I have a history of stomach upsets. I resisted the AA until a DEXA scan identified osteoporosis and osteopenia. I switched to Risedronate because I could not tolerate the AA. I
