Low carb ideas please? 🤞
Good morning all. In an effort to try and lose weight I am going to try reducing my carb intake. But I am really stuck for ideas on what to eat instead of bread and potatoes!!! My go to is always a sandwich at lunch and I want to change this habit. Any suggestions would be fab! Thanks!

No one went over my report with me when I was discharged.
Nothing was said about my kidneys. My dr told me to get a mri once a year to make sure the cyst wasn’t changing. I knew about the angiolipoma but the scarring is new to me. I took a snap shot of my record when my nurse turned her back. She said I have to order my records. What does this mean

Hi there, I was diagnosed with pAF a few months ago after doing a very low carb diet and drinking too much Pepsi Max. I had a single attack (first time ever). I was put on 2.5 mg of Bisprolol. My heart scan came back as a “very good” structure and function. I have occasional ectopics at certain times

Pain on Orgasm
Hi all, i'm a total newbie to this group and am looking for some advice. I have been on the mini pill for a year to help with endo growth on my bowel that was causing me to pass out on bowel movement on my period. The good thing that this seems to have almost disappeared thanks to the pill and a gluten

Gallbladder
I’m sorry for bothering you al with my problems. My ct scan showed my gallbladder inflamed. I’m in the ER. I’m waiting on an ultrasound. Can I decide to have my liver specialist remove it if need be. My alp is out of range and wasn’t out of range since 3 years. I don’t want to have my gallbladder removed

Low carb diets...???
I really need to find out more about this. A couple of days ago, I got my lab results back and they are clearly indicative of insulin resistance: fasting glucose 110 mg/dL (ref 70-105) and fasting insulin 18 uU/mL (ref 2.6-24.9; should be <5 according to several low carb forums I've visited). Anyway,

Gallbladder and Caffiene
I have an inflamed Gallbladder, I have been advised to go on a low fat diet. When I have coffee, my stomach is not happy, does Caffiene affect the Gallbladder in any way.

What a to do.
What I would like to know is do steroids thin the blood? I posted this somewhere yesterday but it seemed to disappear. I was given Apixaban anticoagulant because of A/F. Within four weeks I had collapsed and was taken to Resus with a Haemaglobin of 57. I had 4 transfusions and the consensus was that

Cru8 Vegan Keto grain free bread launched. 🥖
Hi everyone, This is in the news today as Cru8 have launched a new Keto plant based low carb grain free bread, so it looks interesting the ingredients listed are gluten free but I'd want to all of them. I think that there is a market for bread like this so here's a link: https://bakeryinfo.co.uk/news

How long does it take to get into "Fat burning mode" with IF, LCHF and exercise?
Intermittent Fasting is not eating all day, and, when you are not eating, your glycogen energy gets depleted, and you start to get energy from your fat reserves. (Intermittent) Fasting is about so much more than weight loss, but burning fat to lose weight and improve body-fat percentage the main reason

Labs back, would appreciate feedback!
So, I have had some labs back. I have been on Berberine 1500 mg daily (500x3) since 2015. Back then, it helped me lose 28 kilograms and have a normal BMI for the first time in years. I have since put it all back (the weight gain started after I was put on high doses of prednisolone last year - I took

Thyroid and other labs
I have been feeling hyperthyroid lately so have been decreasing Thyroid-S over several months, from 5 to 3 grains, without much symptom relief I might add. My latest labs from Sept 09 read as follows: TSH <0.01 mUI/L (0.35-4.5) free T4 ng/dL 0.7 (0.7-1.5) free T3 pg/mL 2.7 (1.6-3.2) I usually take Thyroid-S

AFib
There are a lot of thoughts over on the Afib forum that low-carb exacerbates Afib. As a proponent of both, any thoughts please. Di

Comfort in food
Here's an interesting observation. I was doing low carb and noticed my back pain and knee pain went away. I also felt more alert and focused. Fell off the wagon for a couple of weeks and the girdle back pain returned, plus pulsating pain in my back andmy knee pain returned quickly. I did notice this

Fybromialgia versus Arachnoiditis
How can one differentiate from Fybromialgia and Arachnoiditis? Every time I ask a doctor they cannot answer either... it is a widespread pain all over... Arachnoiditis is many times caused by childbirth botched epidurals and spinal Anesthetics... and botched spinal Surgeries... and the cause is always
