stomach cramps
Hi lovely ladies I’m looking for some immediate advice please. I’ve been having stomach cramps for 48 hours which are becoming more persistent. I’ve tried taking buscapan but it hasn’t worked. I’m not vomiting or having diarrhoea but feel quite nauseous achey and tired. I had twisted bowel in 2020

Relationship between serum vitamin D levels and thyroid- and parathyroid-related diseases: a Mendelian randomisation study
As so often, more research needed. But worth at least a quick look if you are interested. [i]

Trapped wind?Treatment?
I am wondering if some of my IBS symptoms may be down to trapped wind. What is the best medication for this? I have severe bloating, sharp pains and discomfort. I also get a lot of bubbling in my intestines and they get very noisy and sometimes are high pitched - would wind relief tablets aid this?

Zonisamide? For RLS??
Hi Friends I am curious to know if anyone has ever heard of Zonisamide for RLS? My Neuro wanted me to switch to it because I told her I most nights I only take 1/2 or less of my .5 pramipexole tablet. I’ve been taking for years but I feel in the last year or so I get augmentation. So this RX is her solution

severe lower left side pelvic pain that comes and goes? Urethral obstruction? Mirena related? Fibroid/hydrsospinx related? Colitis related?
I am 46. I have had a rough couple of years. In lockdown I discovered I had gallstones and a large kidney stone. It was only the gallstones causing attacks. That was removed successfully. I then had a ureteroscopy to remove the kidney stone. This lead to ureteral spasms months afterwards. I then had

gut appendix and probiotics
How many of you with PD and intestinal problems have had surgery to remove your intestinal appendix? Could there be a relationship between the role of the appendix as a refuge for good intestinal flora and intestinal problems or even the onset of PD caused by an intestinal bacterium? Does anyone have

I have been taking adalimumab for 14 weeks now and I think it has helped a bit but I don't know if it's the side effects of the drug or my pa. The longer I'm taking it the more back and hip pain I'm getting also pain and swelling in my ankles.I know side effects can last up to 16 weeks but I can't see

QUICK QUESTION
I have been dealing with IBS - C for years. Recently I started a high fiber diet per my PC instead of taking statins. My question is: bowel movement more regular but have noticed more mucus. Also the last couple of days a mucus discharge with no bowel movement and it is tannish pink. Has anyone else

Bloating due to intolerance
Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, this is my first post. For at least 10 years I have been intolerant to lactose and eggs and I didn't know it, every time I complained to the doctor that I was bloated very often and had diarrhea, they blamed it on gallstones (confirmed by abdominal ultrasound).

Can You Give Up High Fructose Corn Syrup and Emulsifiers?
I consider the Daily Mail my medical advice bible (just kidding) but check this out:
I'm a doctor on the frontlines of America's colon cancer crisis - I believe two ingredients found in 'healthy' foods are to blame

Necessary cofactors and dosages for Vitamin b12 injections to work
Can anyone inform me as to all the necessary cofactors and dosages that need to be taken to ensure Vitamin b12 injections work. I have the MTHFR gene and slow COMT so is folic acid a bad idea?

Hi, New to the forum
I had a colonoscopy 5 years ago due to blood in my stools, I was given suppositories and it cleared up and I've thought nothing of it until it started again 2 months ago. My latest colonoscopy showed proctitis and an ulcer, I'm taking mesalazine suppositories which stopped the bleeding, I was taking

colonoscopy and endoscopy concerns
I am scheduled to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy in 1 week. My last colonoscopy was 8 years ago and the two colonoscopies before that found nothing but hemorrhoids ( all colonoscopies were pre CLL diagnosis in Oct of 2017). I have never had an endoscopy but I do have a cough that seems to start after
