Moving on to Provenge/Sipuleucel-t
We met with my husband's onc yesterday to discuss the next move since the 3 years of Abiraraterone/prednisone has run its course. His psa numbers are now around 2.0 (up from a low of .04) and psma scan indicates that bone met volume is quite low. A recent lab biopsy didn't reveal much... The good doc

Rising T Bili on Xeloda
Hi ladies!! my mom has been on xeloda and her T bili continues to go up last few weeks. Her last scans showed shrinking lesions on liver. Her Tumor Markers went up 28 points this month. Her scan is bumped up to next week . She s checking for blockage that would require a stent in the liver I guess

Heart, B12, Deficiency, Pernicious Anemia, EGD Test, Tissue Samples, family risk
In the past I had an EGD, but NO tissue samples were taken. I have had B12 deficiency and prescription B12 shots for about 20 years. (I was falling, once flew into a summersault in the middle of a paved road, ankles were giving out, I was bumping into walls and super fatigued, etc.) When I was diagnosed

Calprotectin of >2000
Hi All I started having blood in my stools mid last year and was offered an urgent colonoscopy (after a positive FIT test). the Colonoscopy showed mild inflammation, but UC vs. Crohn's was not conclusive... Did an MRI which showed mild inflammation of the terminal ileum. Calp showed a reading of 240

“Vitamin-B12 deficiency" with the appropriate qualification
While searching via Google Scholar I stumbled across an article from 1956, "Cerebral Manifestations of Vitamin-B12 Deficiency*", from the British Medical Journal. It was scanned as an image, and thus available online. Especially given the date of publication (1956), I thought the opening was noteworthy
