Hello everyone. My name is Nicola, Im 23 years old and I was diagnosed with Crohns disease when I was 19. Collapsed
Went out to vote and had to go to see the estate agent, got back home and collapsed as soon as I got in the door. I had to lie on the floor for a while before I could even move. First time I have ever collapsed due to pain. Needed to double up on Oramorph otherwise would have needed to get a ride to

Still awake
It's been a bad pain day and to top it all I'm still awake, despite having taken dihydracodeine, Tramadol, Gabapentin, trazodone and Oramorph! Feel so tired and fed up. There's only so many episodes of CSI you can watch!!! D

Hi, I've just found this site and thought I might be able to get some advice. I'm 21years old and female. In October 2014 I found out I had a fracture in my left wrist that got missed for 5 years as well as a TFCC tear. I had surgery last year to repair the fracture and ligament and thought I was doing

Frustrated
Hi All, I hope everyone is doing as well as possible today. Haven't been online for a little while, been having a very frustrating time. If I do anything more than move very slowly round the house my pain just escalates out of control and I end up back dosing myself with Oramorph. Just went shopping

Update
Hi all, hope your all as good as you can be. Well I was going to say it seems like my chronic pain had taken a back seat to my other problems but when I woke this morning I knew I would be lying to you. I am having a really bad flare up as Iam writing (which hurts to do) As I said in my last little update

Oramorph and sleeplessness
Hi all, I just started taking Oramorph yesterday for breakthrough pain and hardly slept a wink last night, has anyone had a similar experience? I have Lupus and RA but am taking the Oramorph for back and hip pain - I had a spinal fusion at L4/5 three years ago and pain is in same area. As for my hip

I have been

Pain in ribs
I suffer from RA for 9 yrs and over the past 3weeks had pain in both sides of my ribs, sometimes more so when deep breathing. It is not my chest, but am wondering if it could be associated with the RA?.Am already taking cocodamol, oramorph, lanzoprazol and hydroxychloroquine, not sure if worth seeing

Hi everyone, my name is Jenny, I'm 42 and have PMR, arthritis, sciatica and bursitis. I was diagnosed with PMR about 6 weeks ago and my symptoms were severe, causing swelling to my hands, wrists feet and legs. I felt like I was literally turning to stone and the pain was a 10 on the scale and in most

waiting for nerve blocks
still waiting for my next appointment at the pain clinic to have nerve blocks and also the results of MRI of back and pelvis. Fortunately my GP came out yesterday to bring me some Oramorph and he is going to order some local anaesthetic with a longer half life to inject into my groin next week. At least

18 Months of Bleeding and Need Your Ideas!
(I passed ‘wits end’ some time ago…) After having my daughter nearly 18 months ago, I’ve had exactly 5 bleed-free days. I would like a last attempt for a sibling for her but despite saying EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. that I don’t want the mirena coil, it’s all they mention. I had a endometrial biopsy 3 months

Progress?
it is some months since my last post. since then, my fractured hip has almost completely healed itself without any treatment other than enforced bed rest for three weeks a year ago. the fracture was such that i could bear weight on it, albeit painfully, held together by the sticky soft tissue. strange
