A newbie just hoping for some pain relief advice.
Hi, I am brand new to this. I haven’t had confirmation of endometriosis and my appointment with a specialist has been cancelled due to recent circumstances. However I have done all my research and I will be extremely shocked if it isn’t. My GP seems pretty convinced too. I have tried ibuprofen, paracetamol

Pain relief
Has anyone got any recommendations for pain relief. I’ve tried most things..tens machine, hot water bottle, pain killers, etc. Ive been on Oramorph for years but it doesn’t touch the pain and I no longer want to take it so looking for an alternative. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hurt leg, legs a bit calmer
Hurt leg, dropped large oxygen cylinder on right foot & fell against leg. Took skin off foot & shin bruised from just below knee to ankle. Strangest thing is leg is not so jumpy & fidgety at night - could be because of pain or because am taking Oramorph ( to relax muscles), or maybe it's auto suggestion

Hi guys, Hopefully you can offer some advice about what to do as I'm starting to feel really anxious that I am going to run out of meds by the weekend. Basically I was admitted to hospital last Thurs due to my severe endometriosis pain which is now daily. I saw a pain management doctor and on my discharge

Went to see a chiropractor
All I can say is this is the best thing I have ever done! My back pain has left me in bed for over a week ( I’m sure you’ve seen my other post) and I have suffered since I was 14/15 and I’m now 31! Iv had so many tests including and mri which showed no damage but the neurosurgeon said my pain was down

I just need to know I am not alone
I had an ectopic pregnancy 2 years ago, causing my tube to rupture and internal bleeding. I was told after my operation I have endometriosis. Since then I have had all the usual symptoms & its honestly dehumanizing. I have lost a job due to time off. The list of ways its affected me is never ending.

Opinions on instant release tramadol compared to slow release tramadol
Hi guys doctor has changed me from instant to slow release tramadol has anyone benefitted from this. I was on 400mg a day instant tramadol along with oramorph plus a range of other meds but the doctor has given me only 200mg of slow release ? Are the slow release actually stronger than the usual ones

Provera 30mg to treat endo
Hey So I’ve been prescribed Provera (tablets) 10mg 3x a day to treat severe endo and stop my periods. I started taking it on Friday on day 1 of my cycle and I think it’s causing a huge flare as the pain is unbearable and I can’t move- taking oramorph every 2-3 hours and it’s only just taking the edge

Pain relief?
I’m seeing a gynaecologist in about 10 weeks. But before then I’m hoping to get an appointment with the GP about pain relief. They were reluctant for years to give me anything at all, especially Zapain! Zapain doesn’t cut it during my bad flares, which usually last about a week or to. It does ok for

Pain in abdomen at 17 weeks
My daughter is 17 weeks pregnant with her first baby. She is just 20 and lives with me. She suffers with chronic pain (nearly 4 years) and takes Tramadol, paracetamol and Oramorph for pain relief. She has tried to cut down but it's a fine balance. She also takes antidepressants mainly for anxiety

Palliative care advice
I’m on a syringe driver and can have prn (booster) every two hours. On top of that I can have 2 doses of oramorph and larazapan in a 24hour period. I’m also on Oxygen 24h. The other day I had a very bad “attack “ of being breathless and I was pretty much begging for some sort of relief but was told

Extreme pain at bottom of my back.
Hi everyone. As some of you will remember, I had a total shoulder replacement last month and it is wonderful. I can't believe how fast it has become good enough to lift it up and I am now dressing myself for the first time in almost two years. I am going to have a knee replacement next year so am hoping
