Back and Coccyx pain
Hi everyone, I have been suffering with chronic back pain for over 6 years now, I know the cause of it which is, deterioration of the lower lumber discs. Arthritis of spine, trapped nerves, and bulging discs. I just have to medicate it as I have been told that an operation would not help. The thing is

Throwing up bile 3 or 4 times a day
I had my Ivor Lewis op on 8th March, unfortunately there were complications and I developed a leak after some time in ICU and 4 weeks in hospital I'm home now recovering. I am unable to eat anything and only allowed to take small sips of water till the leak repairs itself as I wasn't well enough to go

Continuous pain
I can empathise with everyone in constant pain,no one seems to understand, or they don't seem to. I feel as if I am banging my head against a brick wall. Very fit and healthy up until just over a month ago.Pain started on the left side of my spine and travels around the hip down the leg and to the foot

Pain relief
Hi all, mum.has cirrhosis and sadly is nearing the end of her journey. Her arm pain is particularly bad despite taking pregablin and oramorph. Does anyone have any suggestions on anything else that might help? She is also very agitated and confused. Does anyone know of anything that can help with this

Obtaining emergency Oramorph in a different city??
I've travelled to East Croydon with work from York and found I didn't put the lid on my Oramorph properly and it leaked all over my bag (and the train - eek). I made an appt for next Monday to ask the doctor to give me a new bottle but I just checked the bottle in my bag and it is empty - I thought it

Adenomyosis
Ladies who have been diagnosed with adenomyosis what treatment are you on? I've had excision surgery by a specialist at a BSGE centre in January. Since then I've been in so much pain, I think from my uterus, which the surgeon said they could see it embedded into it. I'm at a loss I can barely do anything

Hi guys My name's Kirsty, I'm 37, and I've suffered with chronic pain for the past 8yrs due to an annular tear in my spinal disc (L4/L5) and some facet joint damage. I jumped through hoops for years, having MRIs, trying different meds, physio, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, TENS, mindfulness meditation

I can't thank the NHS enough
What an exhausting day I've had on a rollercoaster of emotions. Background- spondylolisthesis L5S1, bulging discs, osteoarthritis in facet joints in lower back and fibromyalgia. Had a Caudal Epidural three weeks ago but it only gave me pain relief for 6 days. Now worse than ever, can't walk, drive,

Out f the frying pan (again).................
My health has now taken another dramatic turn. Whilst in hospital in January, and as part of the testing for Motor Neurone Disease, I had to have a lumbar puncture. As it was a teaching hospital the procedure was performed by a junior doctor (without supervision). After two attempts he failed to get
