Opiods after stopping Rpinerol?
I finished taking Ropinerol about a week ago (gradually reducing the dose) but I'm still hardly getting any sleep and gabapentin isn't making any difference (I'm spacing out the dose 1200mg over several hours). I'm also taking a high strength valerian tablet and have tried CBD/THC too. Nothing seems

2 months after op still blurred vision, too early to give up?
It has been two months since I had a trab op. My vision was gradually improving but it stopped the last one month ie, no improvement of vision from day 30 to day 60 after op. Doctor seems to suspect this might be as good as it gets. He mentioned my glaucoma was advanced so in some cases, it never goes

Thyroid and Supplements to help Perimenopause
Hi, I have Hypothyroidism and take Thyroxine and NDT. I have been having symptoms over the last 6-8 months similar to Thyroid which I now believe to be Perimenopause. I started on Collagen which has helped with joint pain and saw a GP last week who suggested Black Cohosh and Red Clover to see how

My eyesight problems
Hi everybody, I have normal pressure glaucoma. I use Monoprost drops in my right eye. I have had a trab in my left eye since January 2019. My pressures are fairly stable though the damage to my left eye is getting worse. I've always been shortsighted and obviously wear prescription specs. The last

sjorgen testing
Hi, I have a question for those diagnosed with sjorgens. What tests do they use to diagnose you? My eyes have been dry for some time. I have Hashimotos and I kinda always blamed it on that, but I think dry eye is more related to graves. I've always had trouble with sunlight sensitivity and Rosacea

listening to music has transformed my sleep
I’ve suffered terribly from restless leg syndrome since I was a child. Only Having it diagnosed later in life. My RLS definitely comes and goes but when it’s at it’s peak it keeps me up in the night in levels of discomfort only a fellow RLS sufferer can understand. Recently I purchased some wireless

I’m currently on Latanoprost until I see my consultant
I’m currently on Latanaprost 1 drop both eyes per night until I see my consultant next Thursday. I’m newly diagnosed and been on them a week and a half. Will they keep the pressures reduced so as to not cause any more damage until I can get surgery? Anyone know how long it takes latanaprost to reduce

HCQ: do we need to pay more attention to serious ocular side effects!👆
Many lupus sufferers are prescribed Hydroxychloroquine to manage their lupus and a common side effect most often reported is gastrointestinal disturbances eg stomach churning, pain, wind, digestive problems etc BUT prescribers never seem to liaise with ophthalmologists to establish baseline observations
