I have been diagnosed with shingles
I have been given anti viral tablets, and stop meth and hydrox. The rash is not paining only when touched, but the pain appears to be inside my abdomen on the same side as the rash. Does anybody have any similar experiences with shingles. I dont know what I should expect.

Cimzia/methotrexate/hydroxy = coldsores and mouth sores
I am quite used to my mouth shedding skin and having an occasional sore inside my mouth but since starting Cimzia a few months ago, am getting a recurring coldsore and more mouth sores than before (on the positive side, my joints feel much better, as do my energy levels). I am due to see rheumatology

Do You Need Pain Relief? Serrapeptase is a very powerful anti-inflammatory and it reduces systemic inflammation in the body.
Serrapeptase, technically called Serratio Peptidase, is a proteolytic enzyme, which means that it chops up or digests protein. It is produced by bacteria in the gut of silkworms and is used to digest their cocoons. When this enzyme is isolated and coated in the form of a tablet, it has been shown to

My son is 14 years old and on March 10, 2014 he developed right shoulder pain and from that point it has spread to the other shoulder, in the neck and now in the lower back. Does the after effects get reduced with time or it goes on deteriorating worrying about it ?
I am also very glad that i found this website. I have been reading your stories from past few hours. All of us are going through a very hard time. I think i was also contracted with some meningitis at the age of 4 when i had a serious headache. Docs said to my parents that they may have seen symptoms

Are there stronger NSAIDs than Diclofenac? Does anyone give me good pain relief advice, please?
Hi I am getting pain which can't get rid of Diclofenac. I have been taking Naproxen regularly and still getting pain so I level up to Diclofenac but still getting severe pain. Diclofenac is the strongest NSADs I got from GP. I have codiene based tablet, co-codamol, solpadol and Tramadol. But co-codamol

leflunomide has started to make me feel sick
I have been on Leflunomide for 2 weeks. To start with I felt really tired but no other problems. Then yesterday morning my stomach felt a bit rough. It wore off, but today it has been bad all day. I haven't been able to eat properly and have nausea and feel weak and washed out. I rang the rheumy nurse

Aussie Ticks come with different risks
Regular CLL Forum readers would be familiar with warnings about the risk of getting Lyme Disease from ticks However in Australia, no causative agent for this illness has been isolated from local ticks or wildlife, and the most commonly encountered tick in Australia has been shown to be unable to transit
