A question for my most knowledgeable friends around the world.
Recently, three years after my diagnosis, after I stopped mirapexin, I switched to an effervescent formulation of levodopa called Sirio 25/100. I take half a tablet in the morning and a half after lunch (plus 1 mg of rasagiline in the evening). Why is the best time of the day in the evening from 5pm

2 months into Preds and noticeable increase in thirst?
I am now into my second month of treatment (20mg Preds, was 15mg) and have notices that I have become continually thirsty. Symptoms like when you start a light cold. The aches and pains have almost disappeared since moving up to 20mg Pred per day which I now take in 2 doses, 15mg morning, 5mg 23hrs

Medications & fiber capsules
I take 2 psyllium fiber capsules with 8 ounces of water, twice a day because if I didn't, I'd be making *hard bricks* and they would hurt like heck when they get... eliminated. The psyllium fiber capsule part gets dissolved and the psyllium turns into a gel that goes through my system and does it's

Hba1c now 43 - Prediabetic?
When I was really ill I lost 3 stone in weight in a few months as I was unable to eat or even drink a cup of tea. This was the only upside as I had tried to lose weight in the past with only moderate success. When I first started being able to eat again my taste buds had totally changed and I craved

On to the next phase of the MIN-102 trial
Hi all, After 5 month coronavirus delay (not me, the hospital), I had the final meeting of the MIN-102 trial in early September. All the usual stuff happened, although they had some almost comic problems with some of the equipment (batteries ran out on the stop watch but Minoryx won't allow them to use

Never slowing down
Davis Phinney is a legend. The winningest cyclist in US history was known for being a trailblazer, and that’s still true today—even after his Parkinson’s diagnosis at age 40. https://blog.trekbikes.com/en/2020/08/18/never-slowing-down/

Giloy treats type 2 diabetes.
"Giloy (Tinospora Cordifolia) is an Ayurvedic herb that has been used and advocated in Indian medicine for ages”, says Delhi-based Nutritionist Anshul Jaibharat. In Sanskrit, Giloy is known as 'Amrita', which literally translates to 'the root of immortality', because of its abundant medicinal properties

Tuning Fork Therapy
I don’t know if anyone else has tried this? It vibrates on the meridian line for pain. I could hardly lift my arm any more than 6” In any direction due to the pain, The vibration firstly made my pain come to the surface going from the tips of my fingers into the top of my arms, It felt very uncomfortable
