Duloxetine for neuropathy in feet…….
GP has prescribed Duloxetine (off licence as usually only for
diabetic
neuropathy
which I haven’t got) and I’d like to know what experiences others have had by way of effectiveness, side effects etc if you’ve also taken it for neuropathy only.

Ropinirole withdrawal
Saw GP again and he said it is probably
diabetic
neuropathy
but my sugars are well controlled, anyway he put me on amitriptyline. Either of these meds was making me vomit during night. So I came off the amitriptyline couple of weeks ago.

Couch to 5K with a visual impairment
Combined with
diabetic
neuropathy
and minor but noticiable balance issues, should I attempt it? Please factor in that I have a phobia about tripping and night running is a no-no due to aforementioned visual impairment.

Help me find a Neurologist in Orlando/Tampa area. Prefer someone open to dialogue and an appreciation of naturopathic medicine
I have PD for 10 years. I have been patient of Dr. Mischley for the last 3 years. I find her approach extremely helpful and I want to continue to follow her advice I haven’t seen a neurologist for a couple of years. Everyone I saw before was not helpful in the least but I feel i need to find someone

Pregabalin-magnesium
Sue, Did I read correctly in your gabapentin template that you can take magnesium at the same time as pregabalin?

Gabapentin to pregabalin
Morning Sue. I persuaded my doctor to let me try pregabalin again, he is going to start me on 75mg pregabalin twice a day, is that ok as I am taking 1800 gabapentin at the moment? I am a little nervous as I thought it should be 300mg pregabalin. Thanks in advance.

Update gabapentin
Hi Sue. My doctor doesn't want me to change to pregabalin because when I tried it before I had really bad memory loss and I must say I don't want to go there again. I want to wean myself back to a lower dose of gabapentin because I am not getting anymore sleep as when I was on a much lower dose, would

I also try never

Thank you
I am overwhelmed with gratitude to all those that have responded to my post yesterday . I responded individually to the first people ( I’m not sure how to private message , I’m a bit crap with technology and my texting thumb is numb 🤦🏻♀️) But thank you all . I have had both psychology sessions

Benfotiamine B1 5 Day Trial
I decided to do a trial of Berfotiamine after reading randomized trials for peripheral neuropathy in diabetics. Yes there is work with efficacy done, just not with B12 deficiency. 1mg EOD is good enough treatment and the maximum ever needed. I no longer experience peripheral neuropathy due to my supplementation

UK based PN pain management Dr’s
Think I have narrowed it down to making a private appointment with either Dr.Baronowski or Dr.Kellow, has anyone had recent experiences with either of these Dr’s & if so would you recommend. I know from electromyography test recently performed that I have moderately inactive neuropathic findings supporting

TGIF! And thank God for Tramadol?
My answer is yes. Always do your own research. Tramadol is a combination opiate and the properties of an SNRI (antidepressant) and is very successfully used to treat both pain and depression (off-label), with no where near the addiction rate of other opiates. https://go.drugbank.com/drugs/DB00193#

I had pelvic prolapse, cystocele and rectocele. Had pelvic prolapse repair 1 year ago, they took out uterus and tightened vagina to hold bladder & bowel. When I came too after op, they said I had a cyst one my left ovary so would need another op yo remove this. I have been in pain since op, it depends
