Natalia Llarena, Christopher Hine, Reproductive Longevity and Aging: Geroscience Approaches to Maintain Long-Term Ovarian Fitness, The Journals of Gerontology: Series A, 10.1093/gerona/glaa204, (2020).

A high-fat diet results in a large number of follicles, but few corpora lutea, suggesting anovulation and infertility. Conversely, the highest number of ovulatory cycles occurred under a low protein to carbohydrate ratio of 1:8, with maximum longevity obtained with a protein to carbohydrate ratio of 1:11 (86).

Should state that this study is based on mice, however this is a conserved model which indicates replicability in other mammals.

Just thought it might place doubt on avoiding carbs as far as poss?

I think this is a review. Good to know though. When was the study published?

Yeah, a review - published Mid August this year. Actually the study referred to was published in 2015, so hard to know whether high fat/protein/ carb diet best really! I know this contradicts Rebecca Fett's It Takes an Egg

Definitely doesn't apply to those with PCOS unfortunately. A normal diet is probably fine if you don't have any conditions though xx
