Glucose test 27 weeks pregnant.
I have a glucose test very soon and because of my anxiety I'm dreading it. I've had one before and it was all normal. I've used my mother's blood sugar test as she has diabetes (that's why I need the test) and my levels came back normal too. Question is; is it mandatory to have one? I suffer with anxiety

Please help Burning in feet, face, ears, and hands.
I get this horrible painful burning sensation in feet, face, ears, and hands. (Not all at the same time) it can get so painful in my feet that it can be hard to sleep or walk. I have seen a GP who said it will be fine and to just monitor it. Can anyone give me advice on possible explanation or what to

Drug interactions
Is anyone on Sotalol, anti-coagulants and Anxiety medication? I can’t take SSRI’s, as they have red flag warnings against them on my NICE drug interaction list.Dr has given me Diazepam, but it can only be taken for a short time as it’s addictive. If anyone could help me, I could look it up and discuss

Re-started
I did C25k two years ago and got to running 8-10 relatively regularly, including a gorgeous trot with @Oldfloss in Criccieth and a crazy parkrun on Pwhellii beach accompanied by the Cats and Kittens. My running frequency tailed right off after a particularly bad experience at a large race event that

Experience with PA and Long Covid
I had long Covid and also have PA. I believe that my long Covid was an auto-immune problem (I am not speaking for long Covid patients who continue to have viral symptoms.) My symptoms seemed to be inflammatory. PA is also an auto-immune disorder so I was aware that I might be at risk for a 'cytokine

Hi, I had very bad pins and needles before I got B12 injections (which I have had mostly daily since May) and although I still get them, I mostly feel a pulsating in my hands and feet now, especially in the evenings and at night. It’s like I can feel my heart beat in them in waves. Has anyone else had

Pred has led me to Diabetes!
I was warned that I was borderline diabetes when I started PMA at the New Year. So one month of 15mg. Of Pred. Has resulted in my haemoglobin rising to 49, which means I am now suffering from Type II diabetes. So it goes on! Has anyone else had this problem? Trouble is it is early days with my PMA and

Obesity appetite suppressing drug Semaglutide could be a game changer in weight loss!
Hi everyone, I've been reading the news today about semaglutide. As a study has found that a weekly injection of semaglutide helped those in the trial of around 2000 to lose an average of 15Kg in 15 months and this is a fantastic game changer. Here's an extract from Jan who lost 4 stone in the trial

Benfotiamine
Benfotiamine benfothiamine 11/19/2017 Dear Roy, Sorry for my late, but unfortunately I can not speak English well, so it's Dr Erika Trevi who is writing these emails to you. We don't use benfothiamine because previous trials report it does not enter in the neural cells, that's why it is not used
