Experience with PA and Long Covid

I had long Covid and also have PA. I believe that my long Covid was an auto-immune problem (I am not speaking for long Covid patients who continue to have viral symptoms.) My symptoms seemed to be inflammatory. PA is also an auto-immune disorder so I was aware that I might be at risk for a 'cytokine storm' or immune system over reaction. When, after improving I suddenly got very very sick again I assumed that was what was happening. This was in March/April; I messaged my doctor but he had nothing to offer. Anti-histamines were not being prescribed for Covid patients at that time. I racked my brain & self treated with Quercetin, a natural anti-inflammatory which I have used successfully for allergies in the past. I was already taking vitamin D & Zinc; the Quercetin brand my husband got for me included Magnesium, & Vitamin C. The Quercetin seemed to make a big and fast acting difference but it still took me months to be 95% recovered. On Covid Facebook groups in the US I met some others who used a similar regime to recover. I never had to go to hospital & have no lasting organ damage so I count myself very lucky.
