W7:3 Fasting, timing, pacing, slowing
Well… I got out there, did the 25 minutes, and within a few minutes of stopping, felt OK. But the contrast between the last run, which felt easy, and this one, which is best described as ‘battling’, felt disappointing. I knew I hadn’t ‘cracked it’ and not all 25 minute runs would feel easy henceforth

Apomorphine
Has anyone here, particularly with drug resistant tremor, been put on apomorphine? It sounds like a nightmare; a drug that has no relation to morphine, that's meant for dogs, makes you incredibly nauseous and sick, needs to be administered via a pump or injection and would be given during off periods

I have joined this group because I have decided to stop killing myself with my bad habits and lifestyle choices. I am 71 years young obese with hypertension and diabetes I also have a problem with alcohol. I joined the drink free group on here about eight months ago and it has certainly helped, so now

Question about mood
does anyone else get depression like symptoms, anxiety like symptoms and just an overall flat affect as you wait the month out for your next injection? I was self injecting in between but the needle jabs are starting to really hurt now so I stopped.

Diuretics
Has anyone found a particular diuretic effective for swollen feet? when I first reported them to my GP, she prescribed Indapamide - which had a marginal effect. I was due to see my cardiologist a short while later, and told him what I was taking, he said 'No, that's the wrong one' and said I needed

Octasa / Mesalazine - Should I be seeing more of a change?
Hello. I have struggled with symptoms for 2 years - loose, frequent bowels, always with urgency, fatigue, etc. Had colonoscopy and relevant tests and doctor says that I likely have crohns and is treating me as such. I had steroids for 3 months which generally helped (though my calprotectin was higher

Diabetes
When I lost 33lbs I found I was no longer in the Diabetic range. So it is possible and worthwhile! I no longer take Metformin. I have found I am not losing more weight for now despite still being quite restrictive in my diet. I have developed kidney stones which may be because I never ate much fat so

Drug fails in Phase II trial for treating Parkinson's Disease - Exenatide (Byetta, Bydureon)
Evidence suggest that microglia are relevant to Parkinson's disease pathogenesis, therefore the recent clinical trial warranted exploration of trying to attenuate pathogenic microglial function. They sought to test the safety and efficacy of NLY01—a brain penetrant, pegylated, longer-lasting version

Excess Vit. B
Good morning everyone, I have a vit. B6 level of 56.8, much higher than the maximum reference level of 18.0. I didn't take a specific supplement but only complex B. We all know that vit.B6 negatively interferes with the proper functioning of Levodopa, so it is necessary for me to drastically reduce

Implant brand preferences?
Hello All, I'm 53 and had a radical prostatectomy in Feb 2023 for Gleason 5+5, stage 3, positive node=1, intraductal carcinoma. Surgeon was unable to spare any nerves and I've got nothing in the area of erections. All providers have agreed I will not regain erectile function on my own, although I'll
