Hi there shazza, in my opinion that does not sound like fibro. Reading your bio It mentions BP, artrial fibrillation and peripheral neuropathy.Any of these thing would be better contenders for what your experiencing.

I would definitely make an appointment to speak with your GP. You should not be feeling weak and falling over what ever the reason is xx

Oh my goodness shazzafloyd, so sorry to hear that. I suffer from tingling and numbness in my legs. When it's bad I get weakness in my lower spine and arms. It feels like I'm not going to be able to walk, but I can walk and thank goodness I don't fall down.

I am currently having tests to find out what is causing these symptoms. My GP says it could be the fibromyalgia, or things like vitamin deficiencies. I'm on statins, which can cause muscle weakness, so she's taken me off them for a month to see if this improves my symptoms.

I've had blood tests for which I'm waiting results and I'm having a spinal MRI in 2 weeks.

She's really good as I said to her when I went for my appointment with her about it, I mentioned that I'd heard it can be caused by fibromyalgia. And her reply was that, yes, it could, but it was a doctor's job to discern between fibromyalgia and another cause.

Take care and look after yourself xx

I get pins needles really bad in my arms and legs. It's not a nice feeling at all. Unfortunately I'm not sure what helps, i usually just massage the area that's numb and try get circulation moving again but it always comes back. Certain foods may be affecting your numbness. Try monitor when you experience the numbness, it could be something your eating that's brining it on. I also experience it at night time too which wakes me up.

Thank you Shazza, I'm sorry to hear that you have this too. I never thought about food maybe causing it but I will look into it. I have the numbness and tingling/pins and needles all the time 😒.

I've recently bought a weighted blanket (4kg) put it on my bed last night, after using it on the sofa to get used to it, and I slept like a baby 🤗
