Hello, My name is Audrey and I am a student at Pepperdine University. I am doing a research study about the impact of brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on people with chronic pain and anxiety. I would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete both parts. It will also expose you to a mindfulness practice that may help with your symptoms and you can enter to win a raffle!

ACT is the accepted therapy for help with coping with chronic pain, not CBT. Pain clinics offer ACT therapy as a coping tool.

Hello

I'm not a fan of CBT, and certainly wouldn't watch a video of someone promoting it either, and on top of that, wouldn't keep watching it.

I've lived with continuous pain for well over 20 years.

Approx 18 years ago the head of department at the pain clinic wrote me a letter explaining how they would never be able to make me pain free free.... Nor to any good degree.

CBT is about messing with the way people think, and unless you're easily lead, doesn't really work.

Which I would've talked about in the survey, but as you expect people to watch a clip first and the. So the survey, it's a no from me.
