Chronic constipation
Please help with some advice. My husband is having so much trouble with constipation. He has tried increasing fiber and liquids, stool softeners, Miralax, Metamucil, magnesium citrate, Senna, Linzess, etc. etc. The only thing that gets him actually going is Dulcolax. He has been to the emergency

sugar levels up
Hello all, hope everyone is staying safe. Recently my fasting sugar levels and post meal have been going up for no reason I can attribute to. Quick background: I'm 55, male, was diagnosed with Type 2 in 2011 in Singapore (been here since 94). I was given Metformin 500mg and Dimicron XR60 at that time

World Kindness Day
Nov 13 is world kindness day. It’s important to be kind to others but if you have PA remember to also be kind to yourself. I’m a few days off getting my injection. I know I need it because I have brain fog, pins and needles and I am clumsy, I am breathing like Darth Vader, and have already called

Diuretics and Ibrutinib
Wondering if anyone is on diuretics and Ibrutinib, lasix, Aldactone, HTCZ, and your thoughts on this. Started diuretic for blood pressure, drinking 80 ounces of water a day, definitely flushing out cells, but not I am staying hydrated

Diabetes update
Hello All, Just thought I’d share with you the results of my two months on the diabetes awareness course, courtesy of the OVIVA organisation in conjunction with the NHS here in the UK. OLD on blood results
OLD does indeed mean old. The blood sample needs to go to the lab the same day for some tests including Folate Potassium chloride and sodium. My bloods were taken in the afternoon so we’re sent to the lab the next day. A lesson that bloods should be taken early morning. I shall have them done again

Balance issues and other things
I am starting to have increasing balance issues. I feel like I am drunk at times. I also have increasing olfactory sensitivity. I am on Firmagon and finished 5 rounds of Docetaxel. I have mets on the left side of my skull. I am hoping these things are side effects of the meds and not things intruding

I recently have been diagnosed with UC and have been prescribed rowasa (mesalamine enema) and lialda (mesalamine oral). Bleeding has reduced however has anyone had issues with white coatings on their stool? Is this normal or should I be concerned?
