Hi so today i was wrapping some presents and all of a sudden i felt this little thing what felt like it suddenly came out my vagina. but when i went to check what it could be there was nothing there, plus i wasnt in pain when it "came out" but the other day i was suffering with really bad cramps below my stomach. Could it be discharge??
I did some research and it said it could be Vaginal prolapse and im freaking out
Please someone give me some advice on what it could be

Hello- This is not a Dx but it sounds very much like a uterine prolapse. You need to see your Gyn. Then she should refer you a reconstructive GYn for an evaluation.
What you can do to help yourself is start your kegel exercise ( pelvic floor exercises). I know it is quite disturbing. Exact thing happened to me.
I am not much help but wanted you to know someone read and cares.
I am going for my second evaluation at MGH (USA-Massachusetts General Hospital) on the 11/24/20 ). FirstMD wanted to do a hysterectomy. I studied it and there are so many options. Hang in there and keep me posted.🌸DG
Hi Cazmay, I have a rectocele which is a prolapsed bowel. I can feel mine if I go to the opening of the vagina. If you haven't done this already I would certainly do an internal examination. Have you had a look with a mirror at all? I was sent to see a consultant who reassured me that it wasn't anything seriuos but have not been offered any treatment. Thats because I have no other symptoms only the prolapse. I would most certainly contact your GP and discuss with him/her who may bring you in for an internal examination to actually confirm what has happened. Not much help I know, but I hope that you get sorted as soon as possible. Take care, stay safe,
Hi! That does sound like what happened to me when I first discovered my uterine prolapse. I squatted and suddenly this "thing" was there, about half an inch of it to start with, but when I rushed to a mirror, it was gone, and then it was back again. It slithers in and out depending on what position you're in. I'm no doctor to diagnose other people, but, if that's what it is, it isn't going to heal itself. With covid restrictions, you might have to wait longer than usual for a doctor's appointment as they disinfect the whole room between patients, so I would suggest making an appointment right away. I manage my prolapse with a flexible ring pessary, but if you go for this option, you have to see a doctor so as to get the right size to fit you. There's no need to panic that you need surgery, as there are other ways to deal with it. But I know just how you feel - I freaked out, too! But I'm still here, years later! Take care. xx
Does the operations make you infertile though because ive heard they do and im scared beacuse in future was kinda hoping for kids and on the nhs website it said it will
Sorry for asking these questions i know ur not a doctor sorry im just really worried about that.
Thank you for the information thou and i will contact my gp
