Drug interactions
Is anyone on Sotalol, anti-coagulants and Anxiety medication? I can’t take SSRI’s, as they have red flag warnings against them on my NICE drug interaction list.Dr has given me Diazepam, but it can only be taken for a short time as it’s addictive. If anyone could help me, I could look it up and discuss

Benefits whilst shielding.
Can anyone tell me how we are supposed to live with very little income. My partner has to shield due to having his transplant 2016. He started a small one man business in 2018 but had to isolate starting March 2020. Since then he has lost the business but gets no help as he wasn't trading long enough

Has any seen benefits of running on either diabetes t2 or lowering medications?
I am T2 on metformin. Well controlled A1c of 6.4. I am also doing C25k with a hope of losing weight (need to lose 10-13 kgs) and reverse diabetes. Anyone else doing running and seeing benefits? I would appreciate if experiences are shared. TIA

PMA one month - Now Grade 2 Diabetes!
I've only been part of your community for a month, having been diagnosed with PMR on January 2nd. I am on the usual 15 mg Pred and have had my first monthly blood test. Unfortunately the ESR(?) is still on 40, which means it hasn't gone down, so the same Pred for another month. But what is more worrying

Experience with PA and Long Covid
I had long Covid and also have PA. I believe that my long Covid was an auto-immune problem (I am not speaking for long Covid patients who continue to have viral symptoms.) My symptoms seemed to be inflammatory. PA is also an auto-immune disorder so I was aware that I might be at risk for a 'cytokine

Pins and Needles are now more pulsations?
Hi, I had very bad pins and needles before I got B12 injections (which I have had mostly daily since May) and although I still get them, I mostly feel a pulsating in my hands and feet now, especially in the evenings and at night. It’s like I can feel my heart beat in them in waves. Has anyone else had

Anyone with experience of very low calorie diet?
I am thinking of trying out 800 calories diet as a way to 1. Lose weight 2. To reverse diabetes 3. Improve my cholesterol. I would be grateful if those who have tried it can share their experiences.

12 week 800 plan ends
Since there is a post on here regarding Low Carbs I thought I'd check in. We completed the 12 week plan, I have lost 14kg and am 1 kg from my initial target. Mark has lost 14.7kg. Both of us really feeling and looking much slimmer. We've now moved to 5:2, still Med diet but 1600 calories on 5 days.

Benfotiamine
Benfotiamine benfothiamine 11/19/2017 Dear Roy, Sorry for my late, but unfortunately I can not speak English well, so it's Dr Erika Trevi who is writing these emails to you. We don't use benfothiamine because previous trials report it does not enter in the neural cells, that's why it is not used
