Low Grade & Cyclophosphamide
Hello ladies. Had anyone with Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer had oral chemotherapy called “Cyclophosphamide”. It’s an old chemo drug that apparently works on slower growing cancer cells. My oncologist suggested it to me a while ago and said it had been trialed at some point in the past but not really

Sore/sensitive mouth
Hi, Does anyone get a sore mouth? As my skin on face is sore and swollen my lips are cut and sore however my mouth is also extra sensitive and sore. The edges and underside of my tongue is sore and my eyes water just cleaning my teeth. Does anyone else suffer from this and what do you do to ease/treat

Brachytherapy Boost
I am hoping to find useful information to help my husband who has prostrate cancer. He is also on this site. Hoping to learn more about best places to go for brachytherapy boost. I understand that experience is important here as it is with surgery. Gleason 9, (4+5) 12 cores, two 8’s and three 7’s.

Holiday Insurance blues!
We have been trying to get insurance for a cruise, but its either thousands of pounds or they will not cover at all. We finally did no medical cover with Bupa worldwide but they could still come back and refuse the cover even though pre-existing conditions not covered. My husband is now having palliative

Long Overdue Update
I’ve been hiding from this site because sometimes I feel like I’m already drowning in cancer. Yet, I find whenever I post I have received useful information, kind support, and I hope pieces of our experience may benefit others. We are nearing 2 years since my husband was diagnosed. At time of diagnosis

Sore nose
Does anyone diagnosed with Sjogrens have issues with a sore nose? Not from blowing your nose too much, or as far as I know, from nasal dryness. The fleshy part of my nostril is sore and sometimes swollen. It is not always sore. My rheumy's assistant didn't seem to think too much of it after I told

Has anyone tried quercetin?
If yes, did you notice any change in your endometriosis symptoms? I'm asking because I came across a mouse study that indicates it might be useful. Quercetin is an OTC supplement here in the US; people often take it for seasonal allergy relief. Here's the study abstract link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Baseline SIBO test - Hydrogen Sulfide SIBO?
Hey Everyone, I'm interested to hear from anyone regarding SIBO tests - I've had the same result twice now with my SIBO tests Very, very minimal amount of Hydrogen & methane in the small intestine (Basically, a baseline SIBO), before elevation of Hydrogen in transit (which I'm told is perfectly normal

opioid induced hyperalgesia
Hey guys, So we've been in a weird lull, no new news yet, but scans upcoming which are causing us a lot of anxiety. Most recently my mom has been in constant pain and discomfort and I thought it might be the meds she has been on for so long. Turns out I was right. They have been making her feel worse
