Need ideas post Xtandi and Zytiga
We had our first telehealth FaceTime call with the local MO yesterday to discuss my husband’s John’s recent bloodwork. He has been on Zytiga with dexamethasone and we knew his PSA was rising. It jumped 5 points in 6 weeks to 15.16 so the doc said to stop Zytiga and dexa and pretty much accept that

I'm depressed and can't taste anything has anyone felt this
Hi for like maybe 9 months I haven't been able to taste anything properly. Can kind of taste sweets. Had a healthy burger 🍔 earlier I tasted the mustard I put on it and sort of tasted the relish but didn't really taste the burger. It's hard to eat when you don't taste anything. I don't enjoy it

Shaking?
Does anyone else get shaking hands with pred? I have noticed a few times but very specifically when I was trying to reach for water to rinse at the dentist and when I was signing off for my treatment at dentist also. I’m wondering if it’s anything to do with the adrenaline boost because of dental treatment

Feelings of Deja Vu
Hi everyone - hope you are all staying safe and well. I am currently off all medication - have been since beginning of Dec 2019. It seems that since I stopped having periods things have gone into remission. I just want to ask all a question. I had a seizure in 2011 and ever since I have experienced occasionally

Hi everybody. I suffer from IBS and an IgA deficiency. I'm 58 and by now all my mucous membranes have deteriorated from the chronic inflammation. I have GI tract problems but also pretty much everywhere else. I also live with a lot of pain from chronic inflammation. If anyone has solutions how to diminish

Oral thrush?
Hi friends, do any of you suffer with those white spots on tonsils like the oral thrush thing? I often tend to develop these since long back even before the detection of SLE. And still it is happening. Sometimes it goes away itself and sometimes it turns up too painful and gross.

EMAIL from Professor Richard P Allen John Hopkins
Dear Mrs Howard I was sad hearing about your travails getting treatment for RLS. Yes buprenorphine is one of the opioids used for refractory RLS with reasonably good results. It tends to get used after methadone is tried, but it is very effective in many patients. We have long term experience

Could I have chlamydia? Could my baby have chlamydia?
I tested positive for chlamydia a year ago and took the medication and all was fine. But I then slept with the person who gave me it again (stupid I know) but I thought they had got rid of it like I did. Then 10 months on they told me they still had it so of course I went to get tested and I have a new

Contraception for patients with migraine with Aura
Hi, I have issues with migraine with aura. So my GP put me on a progesterone-only pill, it's been five months and I'm still having multiple periods a month and I've only had a six day window not bleeding so far. I want to try a different contraceptive method but I'm afraid I'll just react in the same

Very tiny bump on foreskin
A few days ago I noticed a very small bump (<1mm) on my foreskin about 1 inch from the glan. I have recently been masturbating without lubricant but stopped when I noticed this little bump. I also shaved recently for the first time 5 days ago. It does not hurt or itch. It is slightly red. I would post
