Persistent thrush after pregnancy?

I am 8 months post partum but after about a month pp I have been getting thrush. I am now on my 5th thrush infection since pregnancy.....is this normal? I went to the doctor originally and was told to buy canesten pill and cream which has cleared the infection everytime but as it keeps coming back every so often... I'm worried that its something I'm doing wrong? I never had thrush once before giving birth which makes me think theres a link? I had an episiotomy if that might mean something.

Has anyone else experienced repeated thrush after giving birth?

Thank you xx

I kept getting thrush after birth but never had it before pregnant or when I was pregnant i stopped getting it probably after about 5 months but it almost came back every month it was driving me mad and every time I went to doctors they said the same and I tried creams again and again and again but it should stop soon hopefully if not go to doctors and they will do a smear test for you xx
