Oral thrush?

Hi friends, do any of you suffer with those white spots on tonsils like the oral thrush thing? I often tend to develop these since long back even before the detection of SLE. And still it is happening. Sometimes it goes away itself and sometimes it turns up too painful and gross.

Hi Putloo 😊🌿🌸🦋

My dentist ordered Zinc to be taken only until gone. This is due to it being a main ingredient in medical care at the hospital.

I hope you have some and it helps heal them for they are sooo very painful.

Take care be safe.

EJ 😊🙏🤗💖😘😇🦋

I’ve had oral thrush and it covered the whole of my mouth and tongue with a cloudy film. It is a fungus and wasn’t so much sore as very itchy. My doctor advised me to eat active live yoghurt keeping each mouthful in my mouth for several seconds before swallowing. It really worked. I think he gave me a medicine too but can’t remember as it was 40 years ago! But I use live yoghurt whenever I’ve been on antibiotics as it prevents the oral thrush forming again.

Hope you are feeling better soon. 🤗🤗
