NDT fillers/binders?
If cellulose binds thyroid hormone, and sugar on the other hand makes absorption easier, why would Forest replace sugar with cellulose? I read somewhere that they wanted to make Armour more diabetic-friendly, but wasn't there any other filler they could have chosen, instead of cellulose? Although, I

Vitamin and iron supplements do help!
It must be a year or more since I had my vitamin and Iron levels checked. I was under range in everything. Just have latest results since supplementing . Ferritin 384 (30-400) B12 1568 (190- 660). No vit D test even though I asked for it. Really pleased with these results!

Please recommend an iron supplement - thanks
I'm having my ferritin tested next week and it looks as if I will be ferritin deficient again. I've got a prescription for ferrous fumarate, but I'm happy to pay for something easier to take and more effective. The last time I had this issue, it took me five years to get my ferritin up from16 to 102

Ferritin levels
Hi all! As some of you know I have been taking t3 only for about 16 weeks, most things are better but I have very weak and painful muscles. My last iron test showed I was anaemic and my Ferritin level is 120 with a range of 30 to 300! I suggested to my doc that an iron infusion might help but he said

She agreed to my requests to test B12, Vit D, folate and redo my thyroid and FBC. Appointmemt today was to discuss results and she just said

B12 and Iron supplements
I take B12 and vitamin C supplements and iron supplements (ferritin etc). i told a GP I'm new to and a surgeon (I'm undergoing hernia op soon) snd they urged me to stop B12 and Iron supplements. They saw my extensive blood test results over the past year so were informed - B12: 626 (211-946). Previous

Iron
Hi. I have low iron as well as PA. After 6 months of iron tablets prescribed by the doctor my iron has only gone up by 16. I'm now at the lowest part of normal range (20ugl). Doc said the normal range was between 20 and 250. And said to continue with the tablets. But I'm so tired. I really don't

Minireview: The Neural Regulation of the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Thyroid Axis
There are many reasons to question the conventional approach to thyroid levels which insists on the central and absolute position of TSH. Thankfully, at least some medical/scientific folk do have an inkling of this and we can sometimes see deeper thoughts. I have always wondered why the thryoid has
