Ulcer drugs linked to vitamin B12 deficiency

Palpitations with low iron?
The last week or two I've been suffering with palpitations. These are not the loud, thumping ones but more of a flutter. The last two days they seem to be happening more often than I've experienced them before. They happen during the day. Two weeks ago I discovered that my ferritin was 33 (range

Vitamin b12 deficiency or pernicious anaemia? How to know the difference?
Recently you good people explained how my vitamin B 12 was way too low...it was somewhere in the 280 region (reference 225 - 1100). I am seeing my GP in the week and I need to be knowledgeable. As well as having coeliac disease and an underactive thyroid, I have been diagnosed with UCTD: recently I

Iron Infusion - will this kick my Thyroxine into action and make me feel over medicated ?
My Gastroenterologist has decided to give me an iron infusion because my ferritin levels have not gone over 14 in 2 years. As we know iron effects how the Thyroxine works and I assume because of my iron levels that full potential has not been reached. Has anyone had an iron infusion, and did it affect

Does anyone have experience of using LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) and Topiramate, alongside Thyroxine 25mg please?
I have used LDN and Topiramate for a couple of years after being told (wrongly) I have CFS. LDN is an Immune Modulator and Topiramate is for Migraines. I have just started taking Thyroxine 25mg, and don't good at all! I am not sure if this is because I have started taking Thyroxine or because I am taking

MHRA: Intravenous iron and serious hypersensitivity reactions: new strengthened recommendations to manage and minimise risk
At least one person here has related that they had an iron infusion. For that person and anyone else who is interested, the MHRA have made significant changes to reduce risk. [i]Intravenous iron and serious hypersensitivity reactions: new strengthened recommendations to manage and minimise risk

Question about B12 Again ( sorry )
Hi, Although I haven't tested for iron ( Iam a TT case ) I remember reading about that without thyroids your body does not absorb the iron normally from the food ( correct ?) I have ordered the Methylcobalamin tablets from Amazon and wonder that even if I haven't been tested is it ok to start the iron

I was about to start a course of Ibrutinib as a treatment naive patient and was told that I must wait until my anaemia was under control.
I have been told I must have two pints of blood transfused and a course of steroids, does anyone have any knowledge/experience of AIHA which is the possible cause of this fatigue/anaemia with a haemoglobin count of eight and no other symptoms since diagnosis eight years ago?
