Hi, Wether I use gym or go Mtn Cycling my weight stays roughly the same between 138 kgs at best to 151 kgs the heaviest, I'm baffled how it fluctuates so much and I use smart scales, I'm 6'1 and have around a 42 BMI which doest alter much so come in as morbidly obese, I'm on blood pressure tablets and diuretics first thing in the morning so back and forth toilet for the best part of 3 hours as Bumetanide 2mg diuretics which hospital put me on to bring down excess fluid in my lower legs for lymphodema and swelling does come down with medication, Really don't over eat and have plenty of fruits, I'm at a loss as I must be doing something wrong? Any advice would be welcome as I'm hitting a brick wall apart from feeling better after exercise mentally.

Welcome back ForestryPine6 :)

I'll refer you back to your last post, as it had lots of advice for you healthunlocked.com/weight-l... and encourage you again to join in all that we have on offer healthunlocked.com/weight-l...

Remember, fruit is referred to as nature's candy phcuk.org/wp-content/upload... and dietdoctor.com/low-carb/fruits (you do not need to pay to access a huge amount of information on this site)

Eating less and exercising more is not necessarily the best course of action healthunlocked.com/weight-l...

Onwards and downwards! :)

Thank You moreless, I've just looked at video again and I will also go through it this evening as it tells me so much about food that I forgot since last year as I was always basing a meal around potatoes which I really like, I've got to be re-educated again as I need to start eating the right foods, Let's Go Again 👍

Your diet including "plenty of fruits" is partly to blame. In nature fruit is only available for a small proportion of the year in autumn when birds and animals gorge on them to fatten up for winter. In our modern food system fruit is available throuought the year and modern commercial varieties of fruit is bred to be especially high in sugar content. Check out the video "Dr. Gary Fettke - 'Is Fruit Good or Bad For You?'" on Youtube.

I'm eating different types of fruit 🍓 instead of chocolate or crisps, I thought that was the way to go.. but what your saying makes sense that's why I've just wrote down the video about fruit's that's going to be interesting 🤔 Although I tend to stick to fresh fruit not tinned and use Greek yoghurt instead of other's like so called fat free yoghurt which I just found out as lot's of sugar. Thanks again for informing me about this video 👍

Fruit is certainly better than crisps and chocolte, better still if you stick to berries which tend to be lower in sugar. I stick to blueberries which are high in fibre and antioxidants. Another thing which you should avoid is processed grain especially wheat. Check out this video: youtu.be/UbBURnqYVzw

When I have porridge it's with blueberries I'm wondering if porridge is OK? I'll have a look at this video next, It's like a minefield what foods are good or not, I hope oranges are OK and other citrus fruit.. Really grateful for the knowledge your passing on 👌

Porridge is one of the least harmful because it does not contain high levels of gluten which speeds up the metabolism of wheat and causes large spikes in blood sugar but still isn't great. Horse breeders only give oats to horses to fatten them up.. Sorry I omited the title of that video link, it's called "William Davis - Wheat: The UNhealthy Whole Grain"

I'm pleased to know that porridge with blueberries that I enjoy is fine on my weight loss Eryl and Thank's for the link 👍 I've got some good video links to assist now, it's what foods are good or bad that I'm oblivious to and yesterday I read banana's not to be eating same time as an orange as it's supposed to effect digestion.

While porridge and blueberries are much healthier than the packaged breakfats cereal, tosat, jam and fruit juice a better breakfast would be bacon and eggs or fish. The foods to avoid are those containg processed carbohydrate. The bread, cake, biscuits and pasta. Also try to limit rice and potatoes.

Well you've given me a good insight into which are the foods best for weight loss, I'm not a morning eater never have been, it's after midday I'll start to eat but will have mus of tea when I get up first thing.. I like the sound of bacon and eggs also enjoy toast with cheese and put under the grill on occasions, but I don't overload the cheese, I'll have to look to see if that's okay now and again, and new potatoes are lovely with salad 🥗 just watch I don't put to many small pots. Thanks Eryl 👍
